Oh, dear reader, I ventured into this Italian oasis with a heart burdened by past culinary disappointments, but little did I know, fate had other plans for my taste buds. As I entered, a whirlwind of anticipation and skepticism swirled within me, for I had traversed the treacherous terrain of non-chain Italian eateries in this forsaken land, only to be met with despair.
But then, a vision appeared before me, swift and radiant, like a lightning bolt, our waitress! She danced through the dining room, a maestro of multitasking, breathing life into the tables she touched. I watched in awe, for it had been eons since I witnessed such dedication.
With bated breath, I ordered a humble trio: a house salad, garlic rolls, and a mere 10" pepperoni pizza. And lo and behold, before I could blink, the feast was upon me, as if conjured by magic! The salad, a mere afterthought in most Italian domains, sang a serenade of freshness and the house Italian dressing, a symphony of flavor.
The garlic rolls, my dear companions, transcended mere bread. They were no common, frozen garlic bread; nay, they were celestial creations, whispers of doughy delight that could only be born within these sacred walls where all bread is forged. The softness, the flaky top, it was a revelation!
At this juncture, it mattered not if the pizza met my expectations, for I was already under the spell of this establishment. Yet, when the pizza emerged, it was a gastronomic masterpiece, a revelation that defied my very existence. The sauce, a mysterious elixir, did more than tantalize my taste buds; it altered the course of my life. The dough, meticulously crafted, bore the perfect scars of the oven's kiss, and the sauce, a dance of tomato sweetness and gentle saltiness that only the culinary gods themselves could orchestrate.
I am no pizza scientist, but whatever arcane sorcery they employed, it was nothing short of amazing. Alas, my only lament is that I devoured this ambrosial feast to the point of incapacitation, leaving me in doubt if I shall have the stomach capacity to dine here for dinner. But one thing is certain: this Italian haven has left an indelible mark on my soul, a culinary revelation I shall cherish for...

Read moreI will start with the food. I ordered pizza and a salad. The pizza was good even though the crust was a bit overcooked. The salad was good. The waitress Susan was HORRINLE. She threw my plate down on the table and said, "here you go." Then proceeded to put her foot up on the bench beside of me and fix her shoe. I looked at her incredulously and she asked if there was something else. I said, "Yes, my salad." She said, Oh you didn't get your salad?" If it were not for the other waitress, I would not have had my drink either. The other waitress took my order very nicely. I wish she waited on me. When Susan brought my salad, she put it away from where I was sitting and as she was turning to walk away said, "Sorry for your inconvenience." She never came back to check on me again. When I was paying for the food I asked who the tip would go to and was told Suan. I didn't leave aaway would I pay for terrible service? I did not see any other customer of my race in there and she did not mistreat anyone else. I will not be returning even though everyone else was friendly. She...
