Painted Grape gets a ten star review from me! I've been a loyal customer since they first opened. The owners are two of the nicest people you'll meet. I love that everything is affordable... And they literally have something for everyone... every budget...and every creative ability....If you have little ones that love to paint and craft... I highly encourage you to check out their Grape Kids open studio times!!! If you feel crafty and creative and just need somewhere to let your creative juices flow... they're your go-to spot...They literally have everything you need to make your creation come to life... Just catch one of their open studio times.... If you are new to painting and need some direction... check their calendar for their artist instructed classes. (They're so fun!!!! I love to plan girls nights and sip some wine...and just relax while creating!!!!) It's literally a one stop shop! I recently cashed in on one of their To- go classes...and I was blown away at the attention to detail that these to-go classes included....My kit literally had EVERYTHING needed to make my home transform into a studio...It came with the paint brush...allll the required paints...a plate...a canvas.. detailed instructions...a water cup and even a napkin! They literally thought of EVERYTHING! I can't recommend them highly enough! You owe it to yourself to...
Read moreI had a really great first time experience at Painted Grape in Burlington, NC. I missed the cutoff time for scheduling for the open studio online as it closes 2 hours before the session starts at 7pm, however they allowed me to walk-in after calling to ensure space was available. There was plenty of parking space when I arrived. I was warmly welcomed by staff member Becca and she was awesome from start to finish. She informed me of how the process goes with open studio and then helped me pick out my craft. They had options for canvas paintings, wood crafts as well as ceramics. They even had snacks to purchase which was a nice option. I chose a ceramic butterfly and was provided with an apron and paint to begin my creativity. I must say the experience was very relaxing. I was able to listen to my headphones while drinking my Tropical Smoothie and enjoyed the calming atmosphere without feeling rushed. I completed my craft and Becca assisted with the glazing process that didn't take much time. I was able to take my item home with me the same day and I definitely look forward to checking...

And instead of the attendant checking to see if there was anymore or making a note that more needed to be purchased - just sat on her stool watching the sadness in their eyes when they saw it was empty. The sticker container had plenty of empty sticker papers all over the place.
On the surface this place looks nice, but they seriously need to work on monitoring inventory in the containers so children can do their arts and crafts to...
