Current and future customer's BE ADVISED, the name of this restaurant may be "It's all good: Southern Kitchen" but you will by no means experience or receive that true southern hospitality. I am taking the time to give this review in hopes most, if not all, who "google" this location read this. Mother's Day weekend 13MAY2023, my wife ordered the following side items at 5:21pm 12MAY2023 to be picked up 13MAY2023 for our Mother's Day get together. A la Carte - Feed four Fixin' (pickup) Southern Green Beans quantity 2, Mac n' Cheese quantity 2, Grandma's Banana Pudding (feed four x2) and Buttermilk Cornbread Dozen. Our total came to $74.93 and we did utilize the coupon "PICKUP" which saved us a total of $7.49, we left a $11.24 tip. We paid for the items prior to pickup. Once the items were ordered, my wife received a confirmation text which stated: "Order Alert from: Thank you for your purchase. Your order will be ready on 5/13/2023 at 11:00am at It's All Good: Southern Kitchen 3281 South Church Street Burlington, NC 27215." I noticed when I arrived store hours to open was 4:30pm. Concerned, I wasn't sure if I was able to pickup our order for our Mother's Day get together. I drove to the old location but there were signs up at the previous location stating the new location change with address. I did go back to the new address and knocked on the door. I noticed a lady stand up and saw me at the door knocking and sat right back down. I continued to knock until she came to the door, as she approached she was disgruntled that I continued to knock and stated, "Sir we don't open until 4:30pm, if you would like to come back" at this point I interrupted and stated "Ma'am, I have an online order to pickup" and did allow her to see the order confirmation on my phone. She then asked a gentleman inside if there was an order in my wife's name, the gentleman was frustrated the order may have not come through their system properly. The lady stated "ok Sir, we apologize and we will get that ready for you, please give us a little bit." I waited for 15 minutes for the order to be made. Once made asked if we could receive a discount or gift card for the inconvenience (mind you the system created the inconvenience). She stated she could not offer a discount at this time and I explained due to the price of the food, my current exerpeince, and the wait, including her and I being confused on why my order was considered an "anomaly" she stated she would ask the manager. Of course she came back and stated that they could not offer any compensation whatsoever for the inconvenience. I asked if this is the way they treat all of their customers. She replied "Sir, you arrived 15 minutes ago and we got your order ready that fast." I explained to her that their system issues were not the customers fault but the wait time along with the order not being ready by the time they said it would be ready, including my experience should be compensated or atleast the tip hiven back. To matters worse the fact my situation was "abnormal" or an "anomaly" was all the more reason to at least offer me a discount even after we previously paid and left a tip! This store clearly did not offer me the discount nor did they want to compensate me for my time. It's a little upsetting when my wife and I try our best to create a decent Mother's day weekend for our family including me to being away from my family long periods at a time due to training events with the Army (away from family 6weeks to sometimes 6 moths at a time) comming back to my hometown to be treated as such is quite ridiculous. I will not be back and hope you all take the time to read this. I like to think and consider all aspects of a situation and think out of the box. I try to give the story on both sides including "the benefit of the doubt" but also try to tell it as I see it, but this was not a great experience for me at all; especially from a company who I would think would offer southern hospitality at its finest. Thank you for taking the time...

I have to give this place a 2 stars out of 5 because of mostly poor service. My husband (an amputee), and I were in Burlington on a day trip the Saturday before Thanksgiving of this year (2022) and it was getting close to dinner and were hungry and wanted to visit a local restaurant and give them some business. First, the handicapped parking is not that great. My husband had a walker and it was hard going up that ramp. We went in at opening time for dinner - 4:30 pm. So we were the only ones there, except the ones coming in for their takeout orders. My husband has only one leg and I had to order for the both of us at the counter - since the SCAN AND EAT QR CODE at our table (and all the tables) did not work. Kind of disappointed already and nobody wanted to offer to ask us if we needed any help - since we were a first time guest.
If you have a handicap, don't go to this place!!!
I went to the restroom after placing our orders and when I came out, the meals were at the counter to be picked up. My husband couldn't do it obviously do it. I went to get the meals. Why couldn't the counter person take our food to the table??? They were not that busy at all !!
Our food placed on metal biscuit trays on cardboard trays was a big surprise!! If it was a ",Southern/country " place, then the meals should've been on real plates, not cardboard like you would feed animals at the kennel on. Very disappointed!!!! My husband and I are from South Carolina and we know what good Southern cooking is!!
The staff was more interested in their catering orders than their dine-in customers!! Not one person bothered to check on us.
As a matter of fact, about 30 minutes after we got in there, 2 other customers came in and placed a catering order and dined in as well. When their dine in order was ready, their meals was brought to them at their table. They were able bodied women. They did it for those ladies, but not for 2 adults, one of which was an amputee. I don't get it at all!!!! My husband , is 58 and I am 48. You do it for one, you do it for all.
Food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Cold muffin with cold butter. Not good at all!!
Service was the worst!!!! We will not go there again!!! It was like we were invisible.
Don't know how how this place got good reviews!!! 5 years in business. I don't see how.
Owner/managers, you need to do a better job with your staff. And retrain them in better customer service than what they do...

This is an honest review of my experience two times at "It's All Good" I heard about this place by word of mouth. Its a nice 'off the grid' location, the atmosphere very inviting and comfortable. Visit 1: Very quick drinks from order to table with a slightly busy crowd. Food ordered appropriate browsing time allotted by waiter, after ordering the food was brought to the table very quickly. Meal 1: Meatloaf - Loaf form crackling and steaming, obviously microwaved and sitting in a bubbling vat of grease, taste was sweet but good. Green beans- stone cold and overly sweet, Pasta salad (potato salad was the order but no mind)- Mayo based- not informed of this- but very nice taste. Price- 3/5 pretty expensive for quality
Visit 2- 6 party group- Drink order taken moderately after seating, there was a larger party in the back and looked like only 2 male waiters attending the floor, neither dressed appropriately, logo shirts & jeans/khakis. Drink brought out the entire party ordering sweet teas, were brought unsweet teas, waiter apologized and replaced. Orders taken and pretty long wait time to get to table. Meal 2- Fire Roasted Chicken: Pictured was a whole breast of seasoned chicken over a bed of rice. Received- Chopped chunks of over saturated italian dressing soaked chicken, when asked the waiter he said "It's really up to the chef how he wants to send it out, It's all the same" no my friend it's not all the same. Again cold sides and cold corn muffins. My wife's meatloaf came crumbled and chopped coated with ketchup overly sweetend.
TL;DR- This feels like a catering company that cooks in bulk, in the restaurant it feels like you are eating leftovers from an event the previous day that were heated in a microwave or aluminum catering tray. There are better places in Burlington to spend your money. The name of the business should be changed to "It's all the same". I would love to have another visit to this place, but reading reviews from over a year ago the problems have not...
