I had a very unpleasant experience at Regina Pizzeria in Burlington Mall.
I went there with my daughter around 6:15 PM. We ordered a pizza with a soft drink, and later decided to order another pizza. However, the second one came out cold and didn’t seem fresh. I politely asked for a replacement, since I had seen a newer, hotter pizza in the display. They agreed, but instead of giving me that one, they took the pizza to the back, saying they needed “one minute” to heat it up.
While waiting, two female employees started laughing and mocking me. Even though I don’t speak English very well, it was clear they were making fun of me. It felt extremely disrespectful and embarrassing.
I refused the new pizza and asked for a refund — not because of the $5, but because of the lack of respect and empathy. Still, the cashier insisted I had used a different card, which doesn’t make sense because I only use one.
I felt unsafe, humiliated, and mistreated. I also didn’t understand why a hot pizza was taken to the back, while the cold one they gave me earlier was not reheated.
This was a very disappointing and unacceptable experience. I hope Regina Pizzeria takes a serious look at their staff’s behavior and customer service. I do not...
Read moreHave always loved Regina and Polcari's. I've gotten from the one at the Burlington Mall for years and never had an issue. My wife and I ordered 2 pizzas last night - Meatball Pomodoro Fresco and Spinaci, Broccoli E Pomodoro and both were terrible. They were covered in excess flower and the crust was extremely doughy and severely undercooked. While there were a lot of toppings on each they were flavorless and seemed to be lacking in sauce and cheese. The cheese that was there congealed almost immediately. We never post negative reviews but couldn’t find a single redeeming quality especially when each pizza cost $25+, so factoring in delivery we spent over $60 and threw the rest away. With so many other pizza options nearby we’ll likely think twice before ordering Regina again...
Read moreNot particularly great unfortunately - margherita pizza tasted bland and like a combination of many different things that just didn’t work out. The pesto sauce wasn’t great on the pollo pesto. But we did like the St. Anthony’s pizza (great sausage).
Portions are great for what you pay for but overall I wouldn’t recommend the pizzas from this location. I’ve heard many times that the downtown location (original) is great so we’ll possibly try that one before making a final...
