The atmosphere was nice. The cafeteria like venue is cute and it was nice to see locals chilling in there. Was not happy that I had to call the restaurant phone 3 to 4 times to get somebody to come take my order. I was at least sitting there for about five or so minutes before someone came out even though I could see the workers in the kitchen prepping food.
I noticed that once I got my food and went home to eat that I was missing a pork belly skewer, which makes me question why I was given a $15 total coupon one of which was for 10 bucks that I had to use within seven days online and one that was for in person services for five dollars. Seven day limit to use a coupon is crazy.
Highly suggest that you treat your customers with more attention who would want to go to a place and spend money with people who donât treat them as if theyâre important. Be sure to communicate with the customers to let them know if something wonât be up to par instead of doing it and then asking for forgiveness later with a coupon.
Because I didnât feel like an important customer, because he didnât communicate with me about my order, not being accurate based on their shortcomings; I will not be coming back for sometime because thatâs really important to...
Read moreI recently dined at Pork and Spoon, and it was a delightful culinary experience! I had the pleasure of trying their Adobo, Lechon Kawali, and Chicken Inasal, and every dish was a perfect showcase of authentic Filipino flavors.
The Adobo was tender and flavorful, with the perfect balance of savory soy sauce and tangy vinegar. The meat practically melted in my mouth. The side dish of pickled cucumber and onions was so good I asked one of the owners to please sell bottles of it.
The Lechon Kawali was a standout. The crispy pork skin crackled beautifully, while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. Paired with their dipping sauce (special vinegar), it was an absolute treat and a must-try for anyone visiting.
Finally, the Chicken Inasal was grilled to perfection, with a smoky char and a hint of sweetness that complemented the savory marinade. It was juicy, aromatic, and captured the heart of traditional Filipino barbecue.
The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall fantastic experience. If youâre looking for authentic, hearty Filipino cuisine, Pork and Spoon is the place to go. I canât wait to return and explore more of their menu!
