Mike's Deli West — Restaurant in Burlington

It had been a while since I was by Miks's Deli in Burlington. I stopped in on the first day of summer for a Large #13. I was a little worried but hoping it would still be what it had been in the past. I'm happy to report that it is still as good as it ever was. The service was fast and to the point. The sub was made to order while I waited. After opening it up I was in awe of the amount of meat on this thing. It was loaded and made exactly as ordered. WOW! I couldn't even get the sub in my mouth and had to devise an approach plan just to eat it! It is definitely not the cheapest place to eat, as 1 full #13 cost me $20. Was it worth it? Absolutely! On my own for a few days, I decided to try new (to me restaurants) here in Burlington. I am so happy to have found Mike's Deli. Not only are the sandwiches perfect, but they are big enough to eat 1/2 for lunch, the other for supper. You can order on Grub Hub, but Mike's does the delivery. They are very fast & very nice. Today's turkey club was so good. I love the sour dough bread, & the tomatoes were great for restaurant tomatoes. The turkey tasted like carved Thanksgiving turkey and the bacon was good but not overpowering. I like using local businesses and I am happy that I can highly recommend going to Mike's Deli. So much better than the chain sandwich stores....

I rarely travel to Huntsville, as I was departing a client recommended Mike's, I went to web site and ordered, when I got there the prices were much higher than advertise on website, when i questioned the cashier, their response was well the higher price is the price and they didn't know who update the site. When I stated that that was false advertisement, the response was well the price is the price. The issue is they have a good product but, customer service, attitude and false advertisements leaves a very bad taste. As good as the product is, I won't return and I told the client to consider this when...
