Pokeworks — Restaurant in Burlington

i never had the food i only get the boba but the food looks nasty. the avocados are brown and the garlic musubi has been there untouched for a whole week. almost everything is in the other food. the service is slow, if you know you have a long line work faster so that other people can get their food faster. but why $6.05 for a boba? that is small boba that is mostly filled with ice. the first time i got boba there it was okay it was kind of watered down tho(milk tea boba) the second time it was a lot of boba( same flavor but i LOVE extra boba) the third time i got the matcha but it didn’t taste like matcha it tasted like the milk tea. i got less boba and it was kind of hard but it’s overpriced. this is some asian chipotle. i have a question for you: how many times do you wash the rice? or do you not...

Hello, Wanted to share my experience dining at Pokeworks. Even though the food was good, the service and the staff are horrible. The food took a lot of time to be ready. The staff was so unfriendly. And it’s one of those restaurants where you cannot even access the bathroom without getting a key. After I finished lunch, I asked for the key and I had my toothbrush with me to brush my the teeth so the guy working there came and told hey listen you cannot wash your teeth here and it’s not nice to do so. And he want to stop me from going to the bathroom. And then on my way out he told me again that I am not nice. I did not respond to him but that’s not a way to speak to customers. This restaurant is a great place to have your taste buds awakened! The tofu chili was excellent! The servers are cheerful and know how to treat their customers with respect. HOWEVER, the general manager, Darin George is EXTREMELY rude to his employers. I observed this manager yelling at his employees while I was standing in line for my food, I can NOT believe how a manager can be so demeaning towards his employees. I will never again go to this establishment because of the lack of respect this “boss” has for his employees. The food is great, but this “boss” needs to be more respectful to the ones he employs and needs to be aware that his actions are NOT acceptable, especially when we (the guest) can hear this man harassing...
