Queso's Burlington — Restaurant in Burlington

When I last went here 4 years ago the food was pretty good. There servers were really nice and just overall a good atmosphere. Tonight I came back to see how things were doing Becuase yk the 4.3 star reviews I couldn’t just not come with these awesome reviews. When I get there we were greeted nicely and they sent busy at all. Around 2 couples. We sat down ordered our food. Didn’t take long. But when my food got there I ordered a 3 taco combo. A beef and cheese only soft taco. A cheese only soft taco. And this weird chip with goat cheeses? Idk I also ordered no beans. When it got there it had the exact opposite of what I ordered it had beans and lettuce and all that. I wasn’t that hungry for all the add-ons. The waiter came by and frowned at my meal and said is it fine if i take it back I said okay. She was nice about it. The chiefs came back 1 minute and 30 seconds later with a cold tacos and a half @$$ed meal and all I have to say is the drink chips and salsa was the best thing there. Before yall come after me. It was half yk when I first got it cold not melted cheese so that’s why 4 star service 3 star atmo and I was hoping for 0 star food 40 $ for somthing I could stumble in my kitchen for and make better in the...

We my husband and I went there 2 weeks ago and let me tell ya how our visit was. 1 the hosted lady that greet us was very sweet and very nice plus she set us by the bar and the gentleman that was working at the bar was also very nice n sweet he was the one that took our older n drinks I had the how's margarita watermelon it was the best ever had ever better then I make mine own, and the foods was so delicious just was way to much for us to eat so we took what was left home for us he enchiladas dinner and mine was burrito with steaks in it, rice was under I never had anything like that when it was put in front of me didn't think I was going like it but I did loved it, like is not the word I wanted say it was and delicious I like to come back some other time and try a different dish that have never tried before anywhere. This visit I only ate their chips and salsa which was wonderful as always. I ordered the street corn, and this dish left more than a lot to be desired ..… Literally just canned corn with Mayo squeezed on top and what looked like paprika sprinkled on top of the Mayo. Corn was mushy and not even fully drained from the can at all. Mayo was bland as it normally is, and the red spice on top of the Mayo I assumed was only paprika was just for looks. No flavor at all. Cilantro? Any type of pepper even slightly greater than bell on the Scoval Scale? Any type of citrus (simple lime perhaps) available? Any type of sour cream or crème to provide any base flavor? Other dishes I’ve here before were ok….but nothing to come back for at all. After the first time I tried this restaurant, I’ve only ever come here to meet friends who invited me to join them for conversation. Never the food.
