The room itself was okay, but a bit small. I’d say the best part of the room was the pillows and blanket, however I really did love the desk area. The worst part of the room was the nonexistent HOT SHOWER. It was lukewarm, at best, and minimal water pressure. I was so cold in there and it wasn’t pleasant at all. I gave up hoping the water would heat up and just got out.
The breakfast was fine and filling. Service got marked down because I might have left something in my room and didn’t realize it until after work and I was about to leave town. I went back and inquired if anything had been found by housekeeping. The front desk agent checked the lost and found, called the head housekeeper, as well as took me up to the room so I could look myself. That was all great and I really thought I was getting some help. The low rating is because they took my number down and said the head housekeeper would ask her people if they saw the missing item, and that I would receive a call either way, just so I could know of it was really left there or if it wasn’t, and maybe I misplaced it in my vehicle. Many days went by and I never received a call. Yes it was a tiny little thing, insignificant to them, and replaceable, but still…if it was there I would’ve liked it back and if it wasn’t, I would’ve liked to know that, too. Also extreme low rating because of the crappy...
Read moreOur stay at the Fairfield was very pleasant and comfortable. They have a warm and flavorful breakfast, a exercise room and an indoor pool. We stayed in a suite with a king sized bed and pull out sofa. Our daughter had a broken arm and was able to sleep comfortably on the pull out sofa, and they thankfully provided us with extra pillows free of charge. The king sized bed was comfortable enough to allow my husband, our toddler, and myself all to get a full nights rest. All of our online booking requests were answered upon arrival, an example; I asked for a higher level room to cut out possible noise from other rooms, and for extra pillows for our daughters arm. Now for the part every mom out there is searching for... the room was clean, the sheets pressed and fresh. The bathroom area was clean with plenty of towels and toilet paper provided. There was also some shampoo, conditioner and soap provided...I believe it was Pantene Pro-V. There is complimentary tea or coffee provided in the lobby at all hours and a vending machine next to the ice machine. Bring snacks because the vending machine has slim pickings. The room was quiet and comfortable. For the price I would say it was worth it and my family will stay...
Read moreMorning breakfast- water/juice machine broken. I don't drink coffee so I requested a bottle of water from the front desk. Woman in charge of the breakfast took me to the exercise room where I was shown the water dispenser and the small cones for the water. That's approximately 3 swallows of water and the cone won't stand up. Our room never received housekeeping services. No trash removal, no new towels, no bed made. I normally tip the housekeeper for their service but there was no service. Our family had 3 rooms. One of those rooms had non functioning AC during the hottest weekend of the year. When the front desk was notified they did give them a new room, however they told my family member that they had similar complaints about this room. Didn't fix it just gave the room to the next schlep. Beware if you are given room 206. Now the woman that checked us in was lovely but the rest of the stay was not worth the $222 a night with fees. It is highly unlikely that I will stay in a Fairfield/Marriott...
