Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Burton

Horrible! My mother and I arrived there at exactly 1:58 pm. I know because I looked at my phone as soon as we sat down. We wanted to kill some time before time to pick up my boys from school at 3:00. I remember nodding my head to my mother and saying, "yeah, we got time." Well first of all... It took forever for someone to finally come to our table. And when she finally did come, she was friendly but slow. She took our drink order which was just water with lemon for both of us. And she took forever to bring that. When she finally came back, we told her that we were ready to order. Because just as she sat our drinks down, she motioned as if she was getting ready to walk away again to give us time to look over the menu. As if we hadn't had more than enough time already. So then she took our orders and walked away. At this point, my mom and I are talking and clock watching. We came to realize that whenever this lady does decide to come back, we needed to tell her to make our food to go. I couldn't understand the delay because the restaurant was not busy at all. It was actually pretty slow. No wait time, and our hostess even gave us the option to sit wherever we wanted. Our waitress finally came back and we told her to make our food to go. She was understanding and even apologized. She finally brought out our food, we paid her for it but then, another delay. She disappeared again. So now we are no longer sitting but instead literally standing and waiting for our change. The manager walks by and asked how was the food. I explained the dilemma. He apologized, said happy holiday's and he walked away. No offer of a refund or gift card, or food on the house next time. Just... Oh im sorry! It felt like a real slap in the face. Our waitress finally came back but still not with our change. It was just to tell us that she was waiting on 1's. At this point, we are late picking up my sons. I looked at my phone and it said 3:04. My kids get out at 2:37 but we make it around 3 so that we don't have to fuss with the traffic. She finally comes back with change and I give her a $2 tip still because all in all, she was still nice, just slow. Then we headed out. I get in the car, taste my food, then get home and feed it to my dogs. It was horrible! I had the chicken won ton tacos... Soggy! And I had sweet Asian boneless chicken. It didn't taste done. It was horrible. My mom called me to let me know she made it home and to tell me that her food was horrible. I hadn't even told her about mine. She had the bourbon shrimp with the broccoli and mashed potatoes. She was very dissatisfied. This was a waste of time and money. I am so disappointed...

Met my wife after her hair appointment,waited 17 minutes to put in our order. We came to applebees for the all u can eat ribblets (me) and tenders (her)... waitress apologized for the wait on her own.. asked how long we have after we ordered the food which "should've let me know something was wrong". Food was brought out 10 min. Later or so .."no silverware had to get it from the bartender". We ate without seeing the server when we finished she came back and asked if we would like more my wife ordered more tenders and fries i ordered just ribblets "waited another 30min i know bcuz i was texting when i stopped eating" waitress apologized twice about the wait then brought out the "food" 2 very small ribblets and two tenders with fries... upon seeing this i stated this is what i waited 30 more minutes for she said it was policy ...went to the door hostess and asked if she would send the manager to my table..manager came and also told me its policy "i told her the policy i understood but 30 minutes for 2 ribblets is crazy she then tried to blame it on the chicken and i told her it only takes 4 1/2 min. To fry tenders to wich she replied "well it takes 5 min" and the blamed the kitchen for all the issues.. i told her to bring me the check and that i was going to leave a horrible review on google about our experience to wich she didnt even apologize or try to comp the meal or a percentage of it... my wife had to leave to get the kids from school so i was left to eat alone,still hungry and $40 less in my wallet after tip and alone.... never again will i go to court st applebees or go back any time soon .. even the Chinese feed u they have the class of filling u up with drinks! not waiting you out...

When the hostess seated my wife and I they did not provide any napkins or table ware. Our server took our drink order and we ordered our meal at the same time. They brought our drinks and several minutes later brought out the cheese sticks that we ordered, and I asked her for napkins and table ware which she acknowledged saying she would bring some but never did. After awhile the manager came along and asked if everything was ok and I told him no. We didn't have any napkins which I had asked our server for and he acknowledged that we also didn't have any table ware saying that he would take care of that. He walked away and did not do anything. Just a couple of minutes before our meals came out a young lady brought us two saucers and a fork with napkins for the ordhorves I suppose. When they brought our steaks we bouth had ordered them medium, but my wife's steak was rare not medium we summoned the waitress and told her and she took the steak back to have them cook it some more. The manager came along again basking if everything was ok and we told him no and explained that my wife's steak was not cooked how she ordered it. He said that he would check into it and make an adjustment. When they finally brought my wife's steak back out it was no different than when they look it back. My wife was hungry and decided to go ahead and eat it. The manager came back again and asked if her steak was ok and she told him no, that it was the same as when they took it back. The manager again appoligized and said that he would make an adjustment. When we received out bill they had removed the cost for our...
