It looks like an abandoned slum favela for a reason.
Translation: 1-hour drive thru wait times are normal for the "owner":
There is no "food", there is no service, there is no atmosphere.
The menu is endless variation on slop.
Such as: slop with corn, slop with wheat, slop with dessert.
The "owner" admits service and atmosphere is a deliberate "hostage situation".
So: you better be prepared to wait because La Sirena "owner" labels wait as "quality" and as a result, everyone behind you is "screwed" ..
..just like you!
If you request something totally reasonable and delicious, the "owner" will chastise you and say:
.." 'expletive', no. If you want that, make it yourself at home, like I do! "
uH.. Food?
..Service?
..Atmosphere???
In summary, no.
Just go somewhere else.
Or, in the "owner's" words make it yourself like "he" does.
To review, this is not a business, it is a person's hobby.
They are only open a few hours per week and they are not on your side.
Likely/easily a shell for nefarious other...fntnyl_problems or soMETHing such similar that plague our community and nation.
BUTTE deserves so...
Read moreIt’s always a pleasure to see new business in Butte, and La Sirena is no exception. The food served here is made of real ingredients and feels very authentic. Very original ideas like pop rocks in cheesecake which I liked. The meals are on the expensive side, but reasonably so as the quantity of meat is nearly excessive (especially in the chimichanga). I would say that the food is 4/5 for the price. What brings my review to 3/5 is due to the location. The old DQ with boarded up windows, paper signs, and handwritten prices doesn’t really match the quality and price of food being served. With the lobby not being open and the establishment appearing close to dilapidated, I would say that vast improvements to the structure and premises should be completed before a grand opening. Get some landscapers, do some outside renovations to the old brick and DQ sign, and open the lobby. Spruce it up a little bit! Also write the prices of meals bigger until permanent signs come in if you plan to keep serving through the drivethru.
TL;DR: Good Mexican food at restaurant prices, but served from a rundown building...
Read moreI definitely did not have high expectations for mexican food in Montana. I have lived on the border of Mexico and Texas my whole life. I grew up in a town where there’s tacos on every corner and mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen. I’ve traveled to Mexico and eaten authentic food. I am a second generation American with roots in Mexico.
When I say this place is the REAL DEAL I mean it. The food is so fresh and it’s surprising how the food comes out so quickly from a drive through. The chips were perfectly crispy and the salsas were on point!! I ordered birria tacos and let me just say these were the best birria tacos I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. We didn’t think we’d get full with 4 tacos so we ordered the loaded fries but we got stuffed off of 3 tacos. They are packed with meat and super filling. La sirena does not skimp on quality, authenticity and meat. The employees were super friendly and I’ll definitely be back often
Being new in Butte I was really homesick for Mexican food but this place hit...
