Really lovely little piece of Butte history. We stumbled upon it during our stop in town on a cross-country road trip. The tour is self-guided, and you can spend a fair amount of time learning about the history of Butte (particularly the arts and the Irish community). The gallery of Bill Ohrmann's work is an absolute treasure, too.

Very cool old mansion. The layout has some similar features to the father's mansion up the hill. Hard to imagine the materials for these buildings being brought in on horse-and-buggy in the 1800s. The John Levi mud flood tartaria people would be going nuts in Butte!

Such an awesome historic building. The staff was really nice and knowledgeable. The building is in such good shape and has so much information everywhere. Loved it.
