Taco Del Sol — Restaurant in Butte

I just want to comment on the amazing manners of the kids working there and how helpful they were. When i called for delivery i talked to Cameron and he was very thorough on what the food came with so I wouldn't be mislead or have anything we didn't want,even though he was busy he still made sure I got what i wanted and understood how their menu worked being from Nevada and having never ordered there before. They were sharing one delivery driver with another restaurant, so i decided to come pick up my food instead. They apologized profusely for it taking a long time (I'm a server, i understand being short staffed and busy but come on management. He was stressing and i know y'all don't pay him enough for that.) All of the boys came out to greet me, apologize and make sure my order was right, and then said how sorry they were and then said a manager wanted to give me the food for free, if i had it my way they could charge me and split the total between all those boys. They were working really hard to make sure everyone was happy under high pressure. I hope management sees this and gives them some recognition! I’ve lived in this town my whole life, and Taco Del Sol has remained unrivaled for best tacos in Butte. My partner and I have been celebrating taco tuesday at this establishment for a month or so; it’s been a lively pop of color to look forward to each week. These guys always knock it out of the park- great food (love the ground beef & pico) great atmosphere, including a more quiet seating area, and always top notch service. I was overcharged once, so id recommend double checking your receipts, but I didn’t catch it for a few days so i consider myself at-fault. I absolutely believe these lovely people would have happily rectified the situation had I brought it to them. Bizarre service. The older woman who took our order was very short tempered. Maybe she was just having a bad day, it was during the lunch rush...but that doesn't really excuse her treatment of her customers. My mother and I were trying to order together, and split our order, which we explained, but she would only take the order from my mother for some unknown reason, and she was rather curt with me about it. My mother and I could only look at each other in bewilderment. Thankfully we didn't have to deal with her for long. The younger workers down the line were friendlier. Probably for fear of her!
