I work in the restaurant business, so I'll be generous and give 3 stars. The food here is good for the most part, and the service as well, but the other day I ordered their chicken alfredo pasta and it barely had any alfredo sauce on it. It was damn near dry. It wouldn't have even been good to eat had I not asked for some more alfredo sent to my table. When the waitress brought it out, I said, "I hope there's no charge for this because this pasta is pretty dry. I'm not the kind to complain very often, so could you just ask the manager for me if there's any charge for the alfredo you just brought me?" She returned shortly after to tell me "the manager said the extra alfredo sauce is 3 dollars." I politely asked to speak to the manager. A few minutes later a lady brought my check to my table and told me they had removed the $3 charge, but it was obvious to me that the manager was reluctant to do that. I understand food cost and all that jazz but this pasta was only desirable because they sent me a nice-sized bowl of alfredo sauce. It was that dry. A restaurant cannot survive without negative feedback, so that's mine. It is my hope that they won't be so skimpy in the future. I would raise the price on the entree (if it was necessary due to food cost) before sending it out with such a small amount of sauce. That way the customer would at least know what they're getting.
Also, Perkins gives gravy on the side for your fries when you order their country fried steak at no charge. I ordered some gravy on the side at the Oasis for my fries (and it wasn't even enough for my fries) and it was $3 extra on my check. Oh well, not bad enough to give 1 or 2 stars because, like I said, the food and customer service is generally...
Read moreI ordered their Hot Beef Sandwich w/gravy & Mashed Potatoes. ($14.00) It came w/a side dinner salad, that was really great & filled w/veggies (pickled beets, sliced red onion, little cherry 🍒 tomatoes, & croutons) the dressing tasted fresh made. My friend had their homemade Chicken 🐔 Noodle 🍜 Soup, that was so salty she could not eat it. We both had the same Hot Beef Sandwich. The gravy was also very salty & I could not eat mine, the potatoes tasted instant & they were covered w/the salty gravy. We eat there now & then & normally if you avoid gravy, some soups the food is pretty good. My dinner went home to my Little Yorkie, who also would not eat the gravy, potatoes, or any of the meat that had gravy on it. So I washed the gravy off the meat & she ate it then. I have had their Prime Rib dinner & it was...
Read moreWe had a great time until it was time to cash our tickets in, the older worn blonde lady with the dreds accused me of skimming the littles off the machines, she was very rude, as well as very unprofessional, we put money in machines to play the games and went to cash out, as some of our tickets were only cents, others were $346, and $134 I won over $400 there, and to be accused of this was gut wrenching... thankfully Tricia took control of the situation apologized tremendously as well as the other waitress, we didn't catch her name but she was very apologetic, we were gonna leave on a bad note, but because of Tricia and her professionalism and the other waitress we stayed and had dinner, the food was great, great place to unwind...
