I came here yesterday with 2 of my best friends hoping to enjoy a nice lunch. I'd never been here before and didn't know what to expect, but the sign outside claimed that this is the "happiest" restaurant around. I can only presume that their measure of happiness is concordant with their dispensing of alcohol. The only thing about my visit here that made me happy was leaving. The ladies who served us were pleasant enough but that is the only positive thing I experienced there. The terrible music was way too loud, the food was surprisingly bland, the "salsa" was very watered down, my entree was devoid of seasoning, and the coffee was apparently brewed without a filter (full of grounds floating). The booth they sat us in was still dirty from the previous occupants. Flies pestered us literally the whole time there. My coffee cup was dirty and the bathroom was like a truck stop in Tijuana. If the place had been busy and packed I might have been slightly forgiving of some of the messiness, but we were the only table there! Inexcusable! Overall I felt like I needed a shower after leaving here. I will never go back here again, even if it was free. Strike 3 for Caldwell...

What was odd was that we were seated and never were given silverware and napkins. Now our server was nice, efficient, and the place was clean. She brought us chips, beans, and salsa. Drinks were brought quickly and everything was pretty good.
I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and was a bit disturbed by the sign in both English and Spanish: “Please throw up in the toilet. Have respect for our property.”
I ordered the fajitas, with steak and chicken. Everything looked and smelled great, sizzling platter, and plenty of food. Unfortunately the veggies were soft and the meat was a bit salty. Good overall.
I never got an itemized bill which is typical of a restaurant. Instead I went to the register and was charged for the total. It would have been nice to have gotten an itemized bill. But with that said, I would be...

I've been to Los Mariachi's quite a few times. The staff and owner are very friendly and enjoy making conversation with you.
The food is very good, the cooks definitely know how to turn out some great tasting food.
To top off the good food, is the reason I stop by Los Mariachi's so often, is their drinks!
The original owner created some exciting and delicious drinks. You definitely tasted and felt the passion he had in preparing food and drinks. A few years ago the owners legacy was passed on to his kids. With a son at the helm Los Mariachi's hasn't skipped a beat.
You can grab a drink at your table or head to the bar where you can hear the son speak fondly of his father while maintaining the same passion in making you drink. Be sure to come thirsty, these drinks are BIG! The one pictured here is a...
