Stopped by this place on our way to the Polar Express ride, the food and drinks were not very good. I think they get a lot of traffic due to the fact they are right on the main road and I mean "right" on the main roadparking sucks. The staff all though was very nice did not seem to have very good listening skills. My ice tea was not very good, way way to strong, my grandsons "orange crush" had a strange taste and my daughters "water" was from tap and tasted like bad tap water the only drink they was decent was my grand daughters chocolate milk, however I want to point out here she did actually ordered hot coco (i.e. listening skills) but she overlooked that part since the drink tasted good. As for the food, we ordered three hamburgers one with everything on it, one with just cheese and one without onions; were received three with everything (once again listening skills). The waitress said she would take them back to fix but we were on a time crunch and said no and fixed them ourselves. The hamburger meat tasted like the cheap kind you get from the grocery store that has no real taste kinda like cardboard. My tomatoes were two small (Roma) pieces with an end piece fixed that by taking the tomatoes off my grandsons, you know they could have at least cut the nipple part off so it would be flatter and would not be so hard to eat. WhateverLike I said the staff was nice but other than that I would just drive past. Sorry people at restaurant I'm sure you meant well but you still have a long way to go to be what I would call a great...
Read moreI ordered fajitas and they came in a deep Skillet with a bunch of liquid in it. As I was eating it I realized it was soy sauce. For those who don't know soy sauce has wheat in it so it is definitely not gluten free. I have never eaten at a Mexican restaurant that puts soy sauce in their food. I have eaten Mexican food all over this country and including in Mexico. I asked the waitress what was in the food and she tried to tell me it was teriyaki sauce which I don't believe because it wasn't sweet at all. It was very very salty. When I told her about the problem she said she looked at the bottle and it doesn't have soy sauce in it. If it was teriyaki sauce it would definitely have soy sauce in it. She also told me that it said so on the menu and no it does not. Anyways if you were gluten intolerant or can't have soy, don't eat here. She brought me a plain piece of chicken when I asked for it but it was also very salty and I could barely eat it. Do not recommend this place. The waitress was friendly, but that doesn't make up for bad food. She said that all the Mexican restaurants in the area put teriyaki sauce in their fajitas....
Read moreSo there is literally nothing open in town beside Subway so I thought I would give this place a try. The chips were probably the worst chips I've ever eaten the salsa tasted like tomato paste and the shrimp had zero flavor literally and they didn't even peel the last half of the shell or tail off so I'm expected to pick up a burning hot piece of shrimp and peel it off not to mention the portions were completely off how are you going to give me 10 shrimp and then just give me two scoops of beans and rice and only three tortillas but I guess that's right considering you barely gave me any beans and rice. The owner seemed very nice but the guy that took my order was quite pushy and all in all I'd give it a two. I would definitely recommend going to Subway or round table instead of spending 20 bucks at this place for really the land mediocre Mexican food I...
