Don't go here. Especially if you are vegan, vegetarian, pescaterian,Muslim, Jewish or just wanting to be treated like wanting you simple order correct isn't them doing something extra. I told the guy I don't eat meat I wanted egg, cheese and bagel. Then ordered hash. Ask for it to be put inside. Went and found bacon in my sandwich. Took it back. Ask for another sandwich "I'm just going to take the beacon off." I ask her to make me another sandwich cause I don't eat anything that touches meat especially pork. She then tells me "we normal don't put hash brown in the sandwich. We did that just for you. " I'm confused what that has to do with bacon. So I said it had nothing to do with bacon "yes it does actually " She said. And when asked to explain "that's OK just know it does. And it takes a long time to make that sandwich and we decided just for you to put that hashbrown in the sandwich " so pretty much shut up and be grateful your order was wrong cause we did some extra you ask for. I've literally been waiting to try this place there's not one near me. And first time, won't be a second. Please train your crew on cross contamination and food safety as well as people...
Read moreI work next door and this location has been over 2 years in the making. I made it through a whole week of them being open before I checked it out. One of the best parts of visiting a donut shop is picking them out but there is no display and the menu literally says "donut." I asked for an apple fritter and a raspberry filled. No apple fritter and the raspberry filled ended up being at least a 3 day old sugar they stuffed (poorly) with raspberry filling. I won't get that again. None of the donuts or sandwiches are made here. They arrive frozen. That being said they have a HUGE breakfast menu. Bagels, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, plenty to choose from. Their large iced chai (& I'm assuming iced coffees) are BIG GULP sized. Crazy! Not what you expect from a coffee shop. I loved the chocolate cake donut. It also tasted day old but I don't think a lot of people know they are open yet. For donuts, I'll probably hit an actual donut shop but I'll update you once I try some of the breakfast sandwiches...
Read moreI've been to this location twice now. Unlike other commenters, I really liked my food (got the glazed maple donut, bacon bagel sandwich and the salted caramel cold brew).
One thing I will add is that the service is ok, but it could use tweaking; I had some other experience like what others have mentioned and I won't go into detail. It's not horrible, but nothing superb. The impression I got from this opening is similar to what a lot of new owners of property in the bay area have noticed about investing in Sacramento (myself included in 2019); they find a good opportunity and dump a bunch of money into it, rent it out, hire etc. The result is you end up working with subpar folks unfortunately, which may cost a ton (for me it was $6k). Now that I am in Sacramento and taking my time (no rush), I am refining who to hire, who to work with, etc. and I am having an easier time getting around and...
