This rating is for the service, not the food. This is the second time that I have ordered delivery from the app. I don't claim to know what is going on behind the counter, but if something happens to me repeatedly it must surely be a conspiracy rather than a coincidence. I attempted to order a sandwich with extra avocado. My coworker also wanted a sandwich. A simply order as you can see. Much to my chagrin, when my order arrived there is no avocado! Did the delivery driver abscond with my additional topping? Not likely, considering the bag arrived sealed. Hence the transgression took place at the restaurant, before it was bagged. Maybe it was a machine error. The order was not printed properly and so it was not prepared properly. Maybe it was human error. Perhaps my name triggers a visceral response from the prepper, perhaps the cashier has a grudge against me, perchance they didn't know which sandwich corresponded to the extra avocado, or maybe they were out of avocados and decided to charge me anyway. Only Jersey Mike knows what truly happens behind those glass doors. Until these issues are resolved, I do not plan on ordering from Jersey Mike's in the near future. Read moreon Friday 4/21/23 I took a break, I was working in a driveway for a businesses nearby, about 7 or 8 pm after getting some paving materials from HD, I went to buy a classic Italian sub at this place, then while a nice lady was helping me fine suddenly out of nothing this black guy (could have been Mexicano, Asian or White- just to make sure if He reads this he knows ) told me in a very rude manner to move my hand away from the glass that divides the customer area and the serving area and I was astonished to say the least because the glass is right in front of you and there are no signs stating any rule, when I ask this guy why or who would say such thing he stated he said it because he is the manager in an attitude very arrogant, this guy might be a manager for the store but his brain is very small , I was working and I know I did not look as sharp as the rest of the customers but I feel my money pays the same as anyone else. mistreating people because how we look only shows some prejudice in my opinion, I seen these thing in you tube but now I know how it feels. does not feel good. Sandwiches made incorrectly on different visits. Unhealthy behavior by some of the team, including touching their face, neck, or arms, with their gloved hands that they use to touch the bread, cheese, and meats being placed on the sandwich,
I've also seen cleaning procedures using chemicals and then not changing gloves when they made subs.
If you go towards the end of the night, an hour before scheduled closing time I've noticed wilted lettuce and unattractive or damaged tomatoes. They also start shutting down a solid half hour before the actual closing time, therefore when you go in anytime between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. items are missing or not available or they've started the cleaning process.
I've called for the manager several times and he's never available. Was also informed the owner lives out of state and never makes a visit.
You can take a chance if you like but I'm on total avoid, and insured that businesses I know in that area, will no longer use this location for their office luncheons...
