How I wish I could give it negative stars!

I had a late flight that landed around 9:30 PM and I was here for an interview. I thought I could quickly grab a sandwich as I was not sure if other places will be open by the time I get out of the airport. I had ordered the Hummus feta sandwich. Bad decision! I thought that the hummus is a separate spread and the feta cheese is added on top of the spread. NO! It was all a mushy gooey weird brown color spread and it did not look good! However, I was extremely hungry and wanted to just eat the sandwich. When I had it, it tasted very bad but I thought I could have it with the sauce, salt and pepper. I did end up finishing the sandwich and felt very weird in my gut. I was feeling nauseous the whole time I drove from the airport to the hotel. As soon as I entered the hotel room I threw up! It was the worst sandwich of my life. My stomach was hurting and I was feeling nauseous, all this was happening while I was preparing for my interview the very next day. I somehow pulled through the interview. On the day of interview, I flew back home and had the worst stomach cramps, acidity, burped the whole day with stomach ache. I believe it was a very bad case of food poisioning! I missed work because of this stupid sandwich.

BEWARE of their sandwiches. God knows what they use to make them or even if they are completely hygiene.

Beware of the charges on the receipt, I couldn't understand the cashier, I'm assuming English is her second language, i ordered 4 danish and i also purchased a fruit cup; she mentioned something about "sometimes the system ..(mumbled)...ask your money back??" Anyway I looked at my receipt before I started to board my plane and noticed a SFO Employee Benefits (5%) of $1.15 charged added and the tip of over 13% $3.44 TIP? keep in mind, I clicked on their machine "NO TIP" but they still rung it up, is this what she was mumbling about under her breathe? What a RIP Off and an Illegal scheme against customers, Do Not go to Klein's Deli. My resolution to this problem, ask the cashier to repeat what you ordered and make sure you tell them "NO TIP is NOT included right? " To the Klein's management group, what you are doing is ILLEGAL, fix your systems and machines and figure out another way to charge your employee benefits, we don't need to know that charge, that's...

5/31/2019 Just flew back from Los Angeles & passed by this deli again. Always seem to pass by & decided to drop in. Purchased the North Beach & the knowledgeable, friendly staff explained the ingredients as I can’t take spicy food or condiments. The sandwich was delicious: salami, ham & the usual on thick Rye. Picked up their coleslaw, 2-each pistachio & strawberry macarons, 2-bottles of Tropicana orange juice. Noticed some of the guests were on the rude pushy side. I’ll be back in a few weeks & will make a note to try out their foods again. They’ve prepared foods & make to order or you can custom create your own magnificent creations. There’s the usual hot/ cold beverages plus juices. As I was observing the staff prepare my foods from scratch, they followed San Francisco restaurant hygienic protocols. I read many of the critical reviews & thought perhaps they consumed foods prepared in advance-rule of thumb-always avoid those unless it’s a plain...
