Lamppost Pizza — Restaurant in California

This was my first and only experience at Lampost. I let the lady taking my order know it was my first time there, and I proceeded to order 2 pizzas and 3 drinks for $55. The pizzas were dropped on our table without a word. So I waited a few minutes, assuming the man would be back with plates, but he did not return. So I then got the pleasure of standing in line again so I could ask for plates and where to get Ranch. I was told I had to ask her for the Ranch, and she would only give me two and any more I would be charged for. Of course, she did not clarify if this was two per pizza or two per person, but either way, the two tiny half full cups sufficed. Finally, sitting down to eat our pizza, and I used 4 napkins to wipe the grease off my two slices of pizza. I'm not sure there was any grease left in the kitchen.... After that, I ate two very terrible pieces of pizza. We then went and asked for 2 boxes. 1 for each pizza since one was a Gluten-free pizza. The lady at the counter acting like we were asking for a golden goose! It was a terrible experience for something as simple as pizza and horribly overpriced for poor...

The lady and manager was upset that we refused to accept burnt pizza. they tried to convince us to accept the burnt pizza. they accused us for burning the pizza saying that it's our job not to burn the pizza by reminding them to not burn it. while they made another one, in total of waiting 40 minutes, we heard them making fun of us in another room. it looked thrown together recklessly then they came to us and they threatened us they weren't serve us if we didn't remind them not to burn the pizza. well, might as well bake my home made pizza to not have that kind of troubles. food is usually okay but not worth the troubles, they just aren't worth it. we will never return to support them. it is disappointing because we have been coming there for along time now and never had that problem. we will inform the friends, families, senators that we meet with at work, co workers, to save them from this kind of troubles. no one should be around that kind of people to bash on customers when they want to say something. if lampost hired new employees and manager, we will be glad to come back and support them...

Just a great, great family and friends type of vibe pizza restaurant! The staff is awesome and the food is amazing! Won’t find a fresher ingredient, better tasting pizza in town! Wings, salad, pasta, sandwich subs and appetizers are all high quality, tasty eats too! Highly recommend!

And oh yeah, can’t forget… great selection of beer and all the NFL Football games with Sunday Ticket! Kid friendly, and lots of vegetarian options for those as well!

Love this place! By the way… it’s has the family and friends atmosphere because it is family owned and by nicest and most friendly owners who are just flat out… good people!
