Read moreOrdered two items. The chicken larb and crispy fried rice. Here’s the thoughts:
The rice was ok had little flavor but still ok.
Chicken larb seems to be day old chicken that really didn’t have any larb seasoning like ground roasted sweet rice. It didn’t taste right and the chicken was hard. There was also a lot I mean ALOT OF gizzards and that overpowered the meal. I am not a fan of gizzards and if there was going to be that many in there, the shop should mention that on their description so as to give customers a heads up.
I understand the state of our economy but the portion of both of them are pitiful. I took a picture of a soda can next to the food for comparison. Also inside the portions were roughly half of that small container and the rest was filled up with veg/greens.
I gave it one star based on the lack of flavor, too many gizzards, and old chicken in the chicken larb . Also with the crispy rice it’s lacking flavor and the portions are super small. Now at almost 30 buck I would expect more than the portion size.
This is a nice place and the rep was pretty chill which was a plus. I just wish the food...
Read moreToday was my first time trying this place out. As I was charging my car, I noticed heavy traffic in and out of the place, which is great news.
I checked their menu out online and called in to place an order. I was in between the pork and beef grilled meats and the server reccomended the pork. I went with that and also order a side of Lao sausage (I never had this before).
I picked up my food and the staff was very friendly and went on my way. When going to eat my food, at first, it looked very small. Small boxes for the rice and sausage and small container for the food. However, I was surprised at how much portion this was. It was over a cup of rice and that was great. Im also a big meat guy, often asking for double portions but this place had exactly that. There was so much meat that I was satisfied. Everything was super delicious and the sausage was great. It would go perfect in a seafood boil in my opinion.
