I'll never forget the joy I had eating this dish: I was overjoyed with simple pleasures of fresh flavors with fresh ingredients. Even the accents on the walls, the Buddhist figurines, the artwork; it was all calming and serene just the same as the meal I slowly, ate not wanting it to end. When food is served and all you here from the other guests is nothing but slurping sounds, the clanging of utensils against the bowls and plates, you know you've entered a realm of palate pleasing, bliss. The two female cooks who were pacing back and forth in the kitchen with their unwavering focus, created these timeless dishes. As far as I am concerned I would consider them as chefs of the dishes mastered by their very hands. This is a family restaurant, owned by a family. Every single person who was part of this establishment had a hand in making the restaurant move forward to service its clientele. The food here is meant to fill the void that other restaurants may lack- that is fresh nourishing, wholesome food. In case your wondering what delighted me so, it was the Tofu pudding that screamed coconut delicate, sweetness. Number C7 the trio dish with its steamed rice, fish-like charbroiled steak with the side of soy sauce based sauce, and the soup the hot and sour soup... it made me forget hating okra I feel in love with a vegetable I could not tolerate... and then introduced to a new vegetable that admire the taro stems. Many thanks and love to this place for I hope to come sit at table 7 and admire the hard work of the chefs, the family who works together, and for this area to house such a joyous...

Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol.
The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too.
The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra...
