Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in California

Had just finished a job and was looking for some place close to the job to eat. This Mountain Mike's came up and I headed for it as I have enjoyed this chain of pizza parlors in the past. The place was clean but empty. They have some amusement games just inside the door and to the left when entering. They have a large room with three screens and one screen in the front of the house. I ordered a medium sizzlin Bacon classic and a draft beer. The total was 36 and some change. This was larger than I expected and knew I would be taking some home. The sad part of this experience was the mushrooms and green onions which were past their prime. They brought the pizza out to me and I mentioned the mushrooms looked old as he walked away. He didn't respond to me but I overheard the two workers in the kitchen. The server told the other that I mentioned the mushrooms and the other asked if he ate it, then laughter. They were unaware that they could be heard and they knew the mushrooms were past their prime and served them anyway. I may come back but will ask about the freshness of the toppings. The pizza was cooked perfectly and if not for the mushrooms and green onions which were mixed in with some fresh and not so fresh I would have...

Me and my wife came in and ordered a pizza with no cheese due to my gallbladder illness, checked pizza before we left briefly to check bottom for cheese didn't see it and went home. When we got home i opened the box and looked a little closer to find they put some topping cheese on the pizza that i didn't notice when i was there. Started heading back to return the pizza and called to let them know the mistake and to remake the pizza, at that time they had assumed we were lying and said "there is no way there is cheese on that pizza". Really got me going thinking that i was seeing things but it was there mistake. The owner wasn't going to do anything to rectify the citation and was just going to send me out with the pizza that i had waited for an hour and fifteen minutes for without offering a refund or discount.... the store owners son had to step in and offer soda that i can't drink, cookie pizza that i can't eat and half off my order that i finally took.... Still on the fence about this place for customer service but the food once i got home...

On August 11th I attempted to order a pizza by phone around 6pm. I had the same experience described in several other reviews. Extremely rude front desk person who answered phone. Claimed they couldn’t hear me and hung up after having a conversation proving they could in fact hear me. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and was told there wasn’t one. The person on the phone refused to tell me their name. Less than two minutes later I received a call back from someone who claimed to be the manager who was even more disrespectful. I live in this neighborhood and used to frequently order food here. I’ve never experienced anyone speaking to me disrespectful. If this manager was able to locate my number, I’m happy to discuss with the owner further if you’d like to reach out. I will no longer give this pizza parlor...
