Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in California

On 8/26/21 I ordered a pizza with the following instructions. “Comment: Pepperoni pineapple on one side jalapeños and banana peppers on the other. ALLERGY”. I got the pizza and it had pepperoni all over it, one side banana peppers, one side jalapeños. I went back in to let them know there was a mistake at which point I talked to Brianne. She walked away to the back of the restaurant after letting her know the pizza was wrong and going over the order again, wasn’t sure what she was doing so we stayed standing at the front counter at which point she starts talking to the other employees about how we “were just standing there”. We received the pizza and left again. Only to realize this time they had put pepperoni and banana peppers on the whole thing and jalapeños on one side. I called to let them know and Brianne stated that she was going to grab someone else for me to talk to. There was enough time on hold for me to drive back to their location. I walked in and both Brianne and the manager were standing at the front laughing. I let them know why I was there again and Brianne rudely stated that I never told her what the allergy was and that they would not be making me another pizza. ( I hadn’t even asked for another) I began to explain to her how I used to work in food service and I understand how it is as which point she said “I don’t need a lecture from you”. I finally asked if I could just get a refund, which the manager provided much to Briannes dismay. I asked for the owners number as well. Today, I called that number. No matter how often I come here for pickup, the order is never on time. It’s been 5 consecutive orders that I’ve picked up and they have NEVER ONCE been on time. They’ve always made me wait an additional 10 minutes minimum. Today, a very obtuse girl with braids took an insanely long phone order while a small army of men casually disregarded us as we waited in line for 8 solid minutes. Then, 9 minutes after my order was scheduled to be DONE, it’s still not ready. After 20 minutes of waiting past my PROMISE TIME, I demand a refund because we need to eat, I have a family on a food schedule, and they can’t even find my order to refund!! EDIT: the saga doesn’t end. Someone called me an HOUR after my promise time asking me about picking up my order. Then they say they have no idea about my refund. Then they say they have no idea who wrote down my information. I’m calling my credit card company today to request a charge back and I’m going to be escalating this complaint to corporate. Yes, call me a Karen - but this is an ongoing issue with this location! Look at the reviews! They’re all the same. As mentioned, they’re never EVER on time ever and they have the gall to lie and tell me “sometimes we get busy” - no, you are inept and incompetent and inconsiderate and incapable of managing a business. Don’t pretend like it’s an isolated incident, look at your reviews. Ordered for delivery, never had a problem with them before, but this time the pizza came late, after their “promised” time. Luckily they had a coupon for the bread sticks to be free, so I didn’t pay for them but I wouldn’t order them ever, they’re thin, hard, dry, flavorless slices of bread with sesame seeds on them?? They also charge extra for ranch, whatever I get it I guess but if I’m paying extra for something, you’d think they would at least bring it? The guy arrived, & was talking on the phone, I asked him if he brought ranch because I didn’t see any and he looked at me funny, I told him I ordered 2 ranches & he looked at the receipt & said “oh… I won’t charge you, okay?” Like I had any other choice, as if he would’ve went back & got them for me, even if he had my pizza probably would’ve been cold by the time he got back, leaving me to have to either go to the store & spend even more money on a whole thing of ranch, or try to enjoy my pizza without it. Hopefully the refund for that pops up soon since it hasn’t yet, total waste of money & will stick to dominos from now on, they even have a system where you can track them so you’re not just wondering if your pizza will ever show up after...
