Wellllll, giving this place 5/5 for atmosphere! It's super cute, clean and hip and has indoor/outdoor seating. Plus, it's in a great area to grab a scoop and stroll around, so a great date location. 5/5 for customer service...so patient while everyone tries 6 flavors a piece and chomps on their tiny spoons. Now, for the ice cream itself, don't kill me but it was only a 3.5 for me. I don't eat much dairy but when I eat real ice cream I want full fat, full flavor! This sheep milk ice cream is pleasant enough and you might LOVE the lighter consistency, but it just wasn't enough umph for me. I got 2 scoops--one mint chip and one blackberry something...the mint was moderately flavored, but the blackberry was so mild it barely tasted like anything...needed some berry syrup or something. Anyway, I'd probably go back if a date was buying, but I'd get some toppings, even if I had to embarrass him by carrying them...

Beware of this business when it comes to booking for events. We paid them in full and they never showed up to our wedding. OUR WEDDING! Last we heard was that they have us down on their calendar and that was it. Our event coordinator tried multiple times to get ahold of them and heard absolutely nothing. Calls, emails, etc. During our reception our coordinator broke the news to us saying she talked with the owner (finally!) and they will not be coming because they sold their ice cream truck? What? Why would anyone sell their ice cream truck when they have events scheduled with it. So unprofessional. Our guests were left empty handed for dessert that night and it was humiliating. Especially because we talked it up so much. I'm a business owner myself and it makes me sick to my stomach to imagine doing this to any of my customers. Please watch out for this business when it...

The first time I went here I had a decent time, the ice cream was pretty good and while it was hard I did manage to snag a table.

The second time I visited I was horrified. When I ordered my ice cream I guess the worker had a hard time scooping the ice cream (since it was a new one she just put in) so she used her BARE HANDS to scoop it and PAT it into the cup. She was wearing no gloves and then handed it to me like nothing was wrong.

I was absolutely disgusted, I payed for it because I wanted to avoid a confrontation; but I threw it away as soon as possible. This is a major health hazard and I will never go back to this place because if that's how they handle food in front of customers, I can't imagine what they do in the back of the shop.

Edit: The woman who helped me was middle aged and she had a short...

Oh, what a gem of a shop! Drive into Tin City, near Paso Robles, CA, which is a collection of Wine and Beer Merchants exhibiting their craft beers and wines and in the midst of all this, is a small, clean shop selling handmade ice-cream from Sheep and Cow's Milk. I went in for my Favorite - The Vanilla Bean as it is, for me, a benchmark to grade quality of ice-creams and I was not let down. Light yet creamy and mildly flavored scoops of goodness, it took away all the heat exhaustion I was having from walking around in the heat of Central California Hills. My better half chose the BlackBerry and Rosemary and she loved it as well! Me, I stick to Good Old Vanilla flavor! But do try this place. The perfect respite from all the wine / beer tasting that you will do around here!

we’re so excited to try the sheep milk ice cream for the 1st time the taste was ok( we did expect it to be better) but the texture of the ice cream was not good, it’s too dry... it seems like ice crystal in every bite of ice cream. im not sure if it’s because of the freezer burn OR the ice cream was melt by defrosting and refreezing again later ..... they should have double check their products before serve or sell it to customers bad experience for us (especially we’re ice cream lovers) who drove 3 hours from Anaheim,CA but i’ll try it again when i pass by next time and i’ll update my review later ...... service 5/5 vibe 5/5 taste 4/5 ice cream texture 1/5

The location of this ice cream shop is incredible. I came here with my kid to have some quality time and for this alone I really feel this place is recommended. The customer service here was just mediocre. I have been to other ice cream shops with seasonal local ice cream and the shopkeepers are very proud of their product. I did not get that impression here. We had never been here and asked for recommendations and we were met with no suggestions or information. The ice cream was just okay. Nothing to write home about, except it tastes like sheep ice cream. Maaa-diocre. Worth a try, but will only return to drink beer and cider at the nearby brewery’s.
