My background is in Design, Construction and Engineering Consulting. My need was to have the Shed (8x8x8 Premium) installed quickly and on a weekend within two weeks from ordering. I worked with Tony Mendoza on the Design and pricing of the shed. I was very particular about the design and materials specifications because I was pre ordering equipment prior to the installation and I did not want any departure from my design which happens quite often in the construction business. Tony was very accommodating in furnishing to me detailed specifications in a timely manner. The Installation went extremely well. The prefab quality was very impressive (square/level and fit like a glove). Most impressive was the two man installation crew. It was a well-choreographed operation; No wasted movements, and including some “Chit-Chat Humor” for entertainment. Installation was less than two hours, including installation of factory prefabbed walls and door, as well as fabricating in the field the Floor system, roof system, installing the trim, vents, and applying a 2nd coat of paint in the field.

My only hesitation with the process was paying 100% in advance at time of ordering, which one would normally never do in the construction industry, instead, having to rely upon the good faith and good will of the provider. However, Tuff Shed has been around for some time (I purchased my first shed from Tuff Shed in 2016) and as well TS has good relations with some major clients. Recently I was looking to obtain storage space to accommodate furniture storage. After shopping around I paid a visit to the local Tuff Shed dealer located in Paso Robles. At that time a new Representative, Jason McCoy had begun working in that shop. I found Jason to be knowledgeable and professional in providing an overview of the options Tuff Shed offered. I appreciated Jason’s approach to working with me, providing answers to my questions, explaining why I could rely on Tuff Shed’s quality, durability, warranty, and the process of purchase, construction, and installation. I never felt any pressure from Jason to buy, He simply kept in touch and provided updates on Tuff Shed’s current promotions as applicable. Hard sales approach does not appeal to me, but facts, information, and an effort to remain in communication I value. Tuff Sheds show room and lot includes many displays models that allow for a preview of the finished product. Jason was excellent at showing the models, discussing pros and cons of each as applicable to my interests, all of which was great as I worked towards making a decision to purchase. I believe it takes a desire and heart for customer service as a prerequisite before one can achieve long term success in sales. We all have choices when it comes to retailers to deal with. After several unfortunate experiences I placed a call to Tuff Shed in Paso Robles and spoke to Tony Mendoza. From our very first conversation he was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and certainly was not a pushy salesman. He worked with me diligently over a week or so fine tuning every detail of my order, always following up to make sure all of my questions/concerns were answered. Once my order was placed he followed it through with the factory making sure all was on schedule. The crew gave me notice, they arrived during scheduled time, they were wonderful, and though I was a bit scared to see my investment arrive on a flatbed looking like a puzzle, my Tuff Sheds are absolutely everything I wanted and more.
