If you’re in Avila Beach and need a sweet treat, do yourself a favor and stop by Reimer’s Candies, Gifts & Ice Cream! We tried their affogato (espresso poured over ice cream), and it was absolutely amazing. The espresso was rich and bold, perfectly complementing the creamy, high-quality ice cream. One had whipped cream on top, and the other was loaded with crunchy chocolate bits, both were delicious.

The customer service was excellent, friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. You can grab your dessert and enjoy it just steps from the beach with a beautiful ocean view. Reimer’s is the perfect stop after a day in the sun.

We love Avila Beach and come here quite often. One of stops was Reimers today, we left the store very disappointed!! While shopping and having several items to purchase in hand, the girl working was very rude to us. We left without purchasing anything. If there are certain guidelines to shopping or where you should be in the store...that should be known to the customers. Also we were the only customers in there for a short time, then others came in. I think it could and should have been handled in a different manner. My wife had wanted to visit a Reimer's Candy store since we passed by one in Three Rivers (en route to Sequoia National Park), we were surprised to find another one in Avila Beach!
