I visited Junoon Bakery to purchase a birthday cake, selecting one priced at $50. I requested a "Happy Birthday" message with a name written on the cake. The staff informed me they would provide a "Happy Birthday" topper and write the name directly on the cake, with these details discussed before payment. While waiting, I ordered a paneer puff to eat.

Unfortunately, the experience took a disappointing turn. When the cake was presented, the staff had scraped off the original icing to write the name, which was surprising and diminished the cake’s appearance. Additionally, I was charged for the "Happy Birthday" topper, despite no prior mention of an extra fee. To my further surprise, a 2% surcharge was added for using a credit card, with no signage or prior notification about this policy.

The quality of the food was equally disappointing. The cake tasted stale and had an unpleasant chemical-like flavor, while the paneer puff was cold and lacked freshness.

I grabbed some cookies and a coffee, and also picked up this fruit cake basket thing for my friend. The cookies were just meh, not bad but not great either. But the fruit cake? Total disappointment.
