every single time i have ever step foot into this establishment and been nothing but nice i’ve been greeted with an attitude. The lady behind the counter is extremely belittling to the younger girl working the counter. I had to make a change on my drink and she acted like i asked her the worlds biggest favor. She repeated it back to me like I was stupid. As someone who has social anxiety and doesn’t go out much (or leave reviews like this) i can hands down say i’ve ever experienced such an attitude from somebody behind the counter. I am very quiet and don’t complain about anything yet they act like I’ve just offended them. I have tried them a total of 3 times hoping for a better result and each time their attitude just gets worse. She even remembered me from last time and announced how she thought I might want my drink that SHE messed up the first time. I order a sandwich and asked for a house special and paid for my order. When my order arrived I was confused due to the labeling. When I asked the employee to clarify my confusion they reply “the house special” doesn’t exist. I wish the young lady who took my order would have informed me the house combo & special are two different sandwiches. Instead I was yelled at and confront by all 3-4 of their employees; slamming me with hostility for my confusion and that I was at fault. Instead of being approached with kindness the lady offered to add the ingredients and repeated said I would be charged extra multiple times; “you need to let me know! You should have told me!”

Also there sandwich’s are missing pickled carrots and daikon… which is what makes up Vietnamese banh mi. Not culturally correct either.

Other than that the sandwiches are yummy, I hope they can adjust their tone of voice, their approach and how they treat their customers when a small mistake or...

I genuinely cannot believe how incredible this Bánh Mì is. My barber lives in the Manteca area while I live in Stockton so I’m not familiar with the area. After my haircut I looked around on maps for a spot to eat and I found this little place. I have tried so many different sandwich shop’s bành mì and none come even close in the realm that this one exists in. It’s so good that this is literally the first review I’ve ever written on Google ever. It’s so damn good that I think it’s ruined my chances of finding a bành mì this good again. I will be fair and say that I also bought a smoothie and it was very serviceable. It wasn’t bad by any means just alright, maybe I’ll give their boba a shot next time though. But the bành mì(also they call it a Vietnamese sandwich on their menu sorry about the confusion) was so incredible that it’s still a five star experience.
