The barista Jil (one L) is the rudest person I’ve ever met. When I walked up to the counter, she rudely told me “I don’t open for 20 minutes” even after I said good morning. First, if you aren’t a morning person, don’t open. When I asked her if they got the Halloween cups in, she said “we aren’t getting any”. I told her that the manager said they would be in this morning and she says “I checked the packing list and they LITERALLY aren’t on there. So... (smirk and shoulder shrug)”. I said why are you being so rude? It’s not necessary. And she said “well you don’t need to be so insistent”. I was very disappointed yesterday when my sister and I went in for the happy hour and ordered 4 drinks. Two of them were the Salted caramel cream cold brew’s, an iced White chocolate mocha and a caramel ribbon crunch. The only drink that came out even decent was the caramel ribbon crunch. I go to Starbucks very often and the other three drinks tasted awful, the cold brews were very bitter and just tasted like iced coffee with nothing in it and the white chocolate mocha tasted like pure milk. would be four, because like Rome, Sbux has gotten too big, too mainstream, to train well and consistently attract believers content to serve really good coffee. They still have hella good drinks, though.
