I'm sad to put this one up, but truth is truth. This is a farely new location and my first time at the Jamestown joint. I was disappointed not because of the food (entirely) but because of cleanliness. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years, and I know it's hard. It's demanding, but as the saying has been said for the past few years, "you want more pay but don't want to do the job" DO BETTER! Your job isn't just making food and I know covid really screwed the world up as far as dining in, but that doesn't mean your dining room and counters have to be filled with grim and floors looking like they haven't been touched in days.
I truly hate giving low reviews but you truly truly earned it.
As for my experience from food... welllllll my mistake for ordering something different yet simple. Chicken nuggets and fries with dips.
I get it, chicken bird flu haunted everyone but duuuuude!!! The quality of the chicken was CRAP! half were edible, the other half was like trying to chew a freaking tire. I don't blame that on the employees at this location, I blame that solely on quality control before its sent to a store. OMFG corporate you are to blame there. Your food should reflect your passion to serve your community, and If that's what your customers have to eat when they order.... SHAME ON YOU. QC is a must in business without it, you get this...
Read moreI don’t know what it is about food service workers in this part of California, but things definitely need to change if restaurants want to be successful. This establishment is relatively new; however it has been open long enough to get over opening jitters.
This past visit my husband waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes. So much for fast food. When he placed the order, the order taker rudely told him “just wait a minute!” As if he hadn’t waited long enough.
He placed the order and waited some more. He paid $20 and change, got a bag of food, and because he was trying to move the line along quickly, he drove off.
He got home and discovered an order in the bag that cost $12 and change. He was out $8!
Here are some standard rules for food service: greet the customer nicely with a smile, take the order and confirm it, make sure the customer gets the correct order. It is not difficult. If the owner/manager hires someone who doesn’t do this - train them!
And this isn’t the first time this has happened. Out of four previous visits, two of them had incorrect orders. My advice, check your orders before driving away. Or better yet - drive a little further up the 108 and go to the Taco...
Read moreToday Thursday, February 9 I got to the drive-through in Jamestown at 1:14pm. there were eight or nine vehicles in front of me. I finally left the drive-through window at 1:48. Each car was taking 4 or 5 minutes. I asked if they were shorthanded and how many cooks Were on the cook like she said 2 or 3. I understand being shorthanded but what upset me was there was training going on with new employees walking around with a clipboard and a trainer. That training should have stopped and all hands on deck to get those drive-through times down. I worked fast food management for many years, I know what I’m talking about and today your drive-through times were ridiculous. My order was two chicken soft taco Supremes and I still had to wait four minutes at...
