The Rusty Hook Bar — Restaurant in California

First time going. Multiple fights amongst other people. Cops called because of that. Security literally picks and chooses who they let in. I went outside for 30 min and tried to come back inside to grab one last drink calling it a night and they refused entrance at 12:30 pm. However after they let a group of 4 inside after that. Very upsetting. Don’t recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good night.

Update: went back to give them a second chance in December 2023 to find out I’m banned for life for putting this google review 😂. Said I’d have to speak to the owner if I wanted to gain access to the bar again. The fact I’m banned from a bar for a google review is pathetic. Not worth my time to call the owner. First off, great karaoke vibes Thursday night's and all, but the security is a joke. I get patted down the first time, they ask me to leave my tobacco pipe in the car and as soon as I come back they had to pat me down again "just to be sure" i know its just them doing their job and i respect it but a second pat was completely unnecessary. no disrespect to the owner but if they want business to keep money in their pocket they're gonna have to tone it down with security check if they want more customers coming other there is no sign of trust...

Went here in a Saturday night with a buddy as our first place to go. Bouncer patted me down - told me I can’t smoke my weed pen inside - I said that’s okay but I’m pretty sure the owner said it was fine.
