This was what the ceiling looked like above our bed the first two nights when we stayed in room 209. We switched to a room with double beds after that there were terribly uncomfortable. We were contacted several times concerning the luggage we left behind in the first room. We had traveled 2000 miles, it is what my husband does for his job in sales, we only brought two bags and transferred them to the second room and it seems like no matter how many ways my husband said that to them they still insisted we left some luggage behind 🤷 we called downstairs to ask for an extra chair for our room considering that there were three guests staying in the room. My request was declined even though the hotel was at limited occupancy. My husband quickly resolved the issue! We let them know, on our last night there, that someone had brought a shopping cart and a bunch of garbage and left it behind their bushes against the wall. It was all still there the next day when we went to check out. The only reason it got two stars is because of it's proximity to dining establishments. And the folks over at Ono Hawaiian BBQ were awesome!!!

Bedbugs! We stayed in Room 314 last night and discovered numerous bedbugs. We were in town for the NCVA volleyball tournament but had to leave in the middle of the night due to the infestation. Our daughter is very disappointed to have missed the second day’s games. We spent the entire night washing clothes and showering. Our two kids both got bites!!! We drove our new car to the hotel and stored our luggage in it, and now we’re extremely concerned about potential contamination. No one has contacted me since this incident occurred.

The location is right in the middle of everything. You're able to basicly walk to anywhere you need or you can take an uber but sometimes they're not available. But regardless the location of this place is awesome. Also the staff are nice and friendly. The morning breakfast isnt too bad. The rooms are neat, comfortable and up to date.

I love Holiday Inn because of its consistency in clean and comfort. I have never had a problem until this day May 25, 2019. My review is going up on an earlier stay because there is no record of my stay in May. I was moved across the street to another hotel to accommodate me for a room I had reserved that was given away.

Upon my "on time arrival" at 3:00 pm I am told a lady named Linda gave my room away. I reserved an accessible because thats what I need. How do you give away a room that is RESERVED ALREADY? The clerk messages the manager for protocol. The manager responds with " What are you going to do?' The clerk lets me know she doesn't know what to do. So I offer to call the 1-800 number so THEY CAN TELL THEM BOTH "WHAT TO DO!"

Yes it is just as you are reading this is exactly how it happened. Now since I am having to take initiative I also remind the clerk I am a gold member and I should be allowed an upgrade or a cookie due to this nonsense.

Needless to say, after 20 minutes on hold with the customer service line, the clerk figured out that she was going to transfer me over to another hotel, give me my points, at a decent rate. So after 2 hours I was in a room, not as reserved but accessible. Had to walk all the way across this hotel 3 different times because the key kept loosing its power to open the door. Which by the way, was not due to demagnetizing, as the clerk believed. A huge hassle indeed. Totally uneccessary and avoidable if right person was in charge.

I have stayed here several times and have never had a problem. I understand new management is in progress so we know where they are headed. Management take note; MAKE IT HAPPEN! I AM A REAL CUSTOMER, A FREQUENT ONE, AND ITS EASY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN..... THEN TO CAUSE EVERYONE STRESS. YOUR MISTAKE, SO...

I manage travel for my company's employees. I made the reservation for our stay at this location, recorded the confirmation number and confirmed by phone call that they received my credit card authorization via email before the employee left for travel. Our employee hotel stays are charged to my company card and the employee provides personal credit card for incidentals. As noted on the credit card authorization form.

The employee contacted me on their third day at the hotel to inform me the credit card they gave for incidentals did not cover their entire stay (13 nights) and they would need to vacate the room that day.

I contacted the hotel front desk and was told they had misplaced my email and credit card authorization form and that is why the employee card was used. I was again assured that they now located my credit card authorization and that the employee card would not be charged. That the entire 13 night stay would be placed on my card.

Turns out the hotel staff did charge the first 9 nights to my company card and the last 9 nights to the employee's personal card. This error on the hotel side of things has caused me to take time from my work day to redo work previously done, it cost the employee money that should not have been deducted from their card, it has created additional paperwork and work in my day, the employee's day, the regional director's day as well as our accounts payable department's day.

I realize mistakes are made, we are human. However, I corrected your mistake on 2/6/2019 and had to correct it a second time today bringing others into the correct. This is unacceptable. We frequently send employees to this area of California for travel and had hoped that this hotel would be used as a repeat reservation location. Right now that is not...

This Holiday Inn Express was very clean, friendly staff, room was well supplied and the beds & pillows were comfortable. However, there's a couple things that I hope they fix.

Every single ice making machine in the hotel was not working. The majority of people staying there were part of softball teams participating in a local tournament, which means there were a lot of thermoses and coolers that needed ice which we didn't have. Also, it would be nice if the bottled water selection in the vending machines were continually checked and stocked - most people for the tournaments prefer the water to sodas. The one on our floor was out.

The breakfast selection was ok but no one noticed that the pancake machine was out of batter and needed refilled and we couldn't find anyone to tell at the time. Maybe have someone continuously present to assist with such things.

Finally, the fan for the A/C unit in the room is EXTREMELY LOUD!!!! As our room was very hot & stuffy upon arrival, we turned the A/C on to cool the room off. Consequently, we had to turn the TV volume up very loud to be able to hear it! We ended up having to turn the fan off and open the window in order to sleep. I heard this same complaint from the two other families on our team staying here. Maybe it's time to invest in some new, quieter A/C units.

Other than these minor inconveniences, I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay when you're in the...
