My family ordered from this Subway towards the end of Nov, 2023. Living near Livingston Mountain, it is a bit of a drive to town to pick up sandwiches. First set of sandwiches (ordered online), were made with all ingredients mixed up on all sandwiches. Too much mayo, not enough mayo, jalapeños on my daughter’s sandwich (she dislikes spicy things). The entire order was wrong. When we picked up the sandwiches, there was a young man alone working behind the counter. Long hair (not in a net and not pulled back), not wearing gloves while preparing someone’s order. I picked up our order from the rack (pick up rack). Got home to find sandwiches were not edible (3 of them, what was ordered). My husband called and explained the wrong orders to a young man at which point he said come in and we will remake them. Living as far as we do, it just wasn’t feasible that evening. Stopped by the following Saturday to pick up the re made order of 3 sandwiches. This time around we stood there watching the sandwiches being made so the order was accurate however, once home, enjoying our dinner (these sandwiches), I bit into something crunchy and thought it was just a rogue piece Jalepeno. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a stink bug inside deep wedge in with the veggies. I spit it out and threw the remainder of my sandwich away. I have been to many Subways and never had such a horrible experience as I have at the Camas WA location. My family will not be going back. It took a solid hour to get the horrible stink bug taste out of my mouth. The location could really use a good...
Read morePoor service. Hit or miss on whether they’re decent or sharply unhelpful. Today the girl working opened the experience with “I’ll be with you when I can,” as though my presence disrupted her. Then I told her I want 5 subs and she cut me off and sharply snapped, “give me the breads before you tell me the subs.” Weird, but acceptable, assuming the request wasn’t so pointed.I said I wasn’t sure which breads normally come on the subs, and instead of asking which subs and helping with the breads, she again demanded, “tell me all 5 breads first.” This third touch point was especially off putting given the temperament of the first two. So I calmly finished the order and shared at the end that I felt disrespected by our first interactions. Rather than taking a customer-centric approach in managing the feedback by addressing the negative experience, she went on defense by pointing at her manager and saying “I was just doing what my manager told me.” I was so flustered by her response that I just handed my card to quickly end my time in Subway and didn’t even specify the sizes of the subs. I gave two stars since the place offers a decent or neutral experience (minus the anti mask propaganda they circulate to patrons), but this will make me think twice before selecting it for a quick lunch...
Read moreUPDATE: I submitted a complaint through the national subway website, and immediately the operations manager, for the store reached out to me, and the issue was quickly dealt with. I was thrilled with the quickness of the response, and the apology I was offered for my experience there, so I have amended my review because I know that going forward things will be different at this store.
Subway is Subway, you know what you’re getting as far as the food goes but my experience at the Camas Subway today was alarming. From the moment I walked in the door the girl working behind the counter was rude and disrespectful. She was incredibly unpleasant to deal with even when I tried to overcompensate by being extra friendly and kind. It felt like I had somehow greatly inconvenienced her by coming in to order two sandwiches. The restaurant was not busy, I was the only one in there the whole time, but somehow she made me feel like my mere existence in her space was...
