My absolute favourite place in Cambria, if not all of California! My boyfriend and I just wandered in on our first day in Cambria and Susan let us know that they offer a bargain of a wine tasting - $5 for 5 wines! We came back later that evening to do this and Susan and Sherry gave us one hell of a whistle stop tour as they were closing up soon, but they were kind enough to stay open a little but longer for us. We then went back again the next day to have a slower tasting, which was equally as fun and amazing. This also meant that over the two days we tried just about everything they had to offer - reds, whites, bubbly, dessert wines, and port! We also bought two bottles and would've bought more if we had the space in our suitcases for it!

Susan and Sherry really made the experience special for us. They are fun, exciting, hilarious, kind and generous people who we could chat with like they were long time friends of ours. They are the epitome of exceptional hosts! If I could give 10 stars I would! The owner is very lucky to have such amazing people working for him.

Went in for a tasting and the lady behind the counter made us feel like we were a bother. When I asked her if she could tell us about the wine she said no! She was rude through the whole experience. When I tried to purchase wine she took my AMX card tried to process my purchase and then threw it on the counter toward me saying it was declined with a smirk on her face. My card has no limit so I knew that was impossible. I proceeded to pay with another card and it worked. I then asked her if they originally took AMX, she then told me that they didn’t. I asked why she took my card then? She said “I always run them as visa and never had a problem till you.” I told her that’s not how Point of Sale machines work, you can not run an AMX as a VISA. She said I did t know what I was talking about and that I didn’t know how to run a business. I have been in the banking industry for over 20 years. That Lady should retire or find another occupation other than customer service. I will never go back. My friends that signed up for memberships are also canceling their memberships. This is a delightful wine bar that succeeds because it doesn't take itself too seriously like big city wine bars. An air of, "Everyone is welcome!" is the general vibe of this place and it is fantastic to feel but at the same time is not full of scumbags, d-bags, or jerks :)

The service was quick and attentive, and Shery and Pat were genuinely warm and welcoming. Shery was specially sweet and took the time to tell each customer a little about the wine they selected and she did so in a genuine and friendly manner even though she does it several times.
