While this is definitely a casual, "hole-in-the-wall" little place the food and service were fantastic. The salsa is made in-house by the owner, very flavorful. The chips were good and could have used some salt (but hey, that's why there's salt on the table). I had two tacos, shredded chicken and shredded beef. The chicken was moist though didn't have a lot of flavor (added the salsa for some zip). The shredded beef was well cooked, the greens, cheese and radishes gave it a nice flavor. The tortillas were doubled and though the tacos were stuffed, the tortillas held it all. Beer was ice cold. Don't expect a lot from the dinning room, this is a tiny little pop and son restaurant with a big flavor.

I forgot to add my pictures for Medusa’s taqueria. So here they are. As in tried to do a prior post, the food was disappointing. I ordered a chicken grilled quesadilla and they added canned chicken into that quesadilla— as soon as I left the restaurant I stopped to the closest gas station to buy chocolate and get rid of that taste. I couldn’t eat that quesadilla and had a burrito which was meh, but not as disgusting as the quesadilla. I initially was excited about this local place. Because of their generous wine pour they get 2*. Food is sad.

Always the little cantina, in that little spot, in that little town, that gets it done! Great flavor and traditional Mexican dishes. Many options for burritos and other entrees. I had the grilled fish tacos and they were perfect. My wife had the shredded beef burrito, wet. The savory factor was excellent. I will definitely return on my next Cambria visit.

Nice little Mexican Restaurant in Cambria. I had heard about the breakfast burritos and went to try one. Alas I saw Chili Verde and had to go with that. The Chili Verde supreme burrito has all the usual goodies I have come to expect in a burrito and I will say the nice chunks if pork were cooked just right. I personally will need a bit more heat next time, I will jut have to ask. I got mine to go so I could sit by the beach and enjoy the lovely sunny day and the burrito made it a special trip to Cambria. The burrito was huge and even came with chips and salsa. I like that and will be back to test out the restaurant side. Only 4 tables in the place,. I really liked the mural on the wall and the huge menu on the wall and especially the salsa meter to tell you what style of salsa to order. (see it in the pictures....

We found this fantastic place by chance. We we're desperate for good authentic Mexican food on our way back from Big Sur to Los Angeles, and started looking for places. This is a family owned and run restaurant in Cambria, and we were excited that the dad is the cook as written in other reviews. The place is small and cozy but very clean and the staff very hospitable. We were immediately greeted by hot fresh tortilla chips with home made salsa that tasted superb. We then took the special burrito with fish, and a carne asada quesadilla. The burrito was huge and everything was so delicious that we now think it's the best place we tried so far this summer. Highly...
