Save your time and money if you want to be treated with some level of respect as a human being. Especially if your ID is from a state outside of MA.

Went to this bar for the first and last time last weekend with some friends. After checking our IDs we were told they would not serve some of us, strange but you could understand being careful as a bar owner. What was unacceptable was the fact that the owner defaced our actual driver's licenses and became highly aggressive. This drastic measure occured without asking for secondary identification or contacting the police. Instead the owner berated us and did not let us leave the bar with our IDs (which were real). When we asked to call the police he grabbed one of us and threw a punch before he was stopped by a more level headed employee. After the police were called and verified that the IDs were real, the owner made no apology. The police indicated that they had reviewed complaints about this business before and referred us to The Druid down the street, seems like your money would be better...

Owner, GM, and staff are all real. Gimmicks don't fly around here, which largely explains their success. Please understand that there is a 2nd bathroom up the 4 stairs (on the right) and that the nightly entertainment is genuinely trying to cultivate local culture.

Nothing but good, positive, local vibes. Don't show up and be obnoxious and you may just find out how much you love Inman...

If you’re asking yourself “Why An Sibin?” You should yourself “Why not An Sibin?” The drinks are really good and prices are better than most ($12 for an old fashioned), the bartender is the best, and the atmosphere is top notch. You will be back for more I promise. And ask for Dottie. If you’re lucky, you’ll see her. ;) And the whiskey selections are supreme.

Update 10/17/2024: They have a Guinness Old Fashioned. Whiskey, Guinness, chocolate and cherry. Where have you been all my life?!? It’s a sweet and cozy drink. Delicious for...
