Just Salad — Restaurant in Cambridge

Yum! New favorite salad spot.

Just Salad's new Cambridge Crossing location is in a very cute quiet corner of the city with good parking options for running in to pick up.

The store itself is so bright and open with high ceilings, and feels very welcoming. The staff I met were all friendly and so helpful in answering any questions.

Now the food-- step aside Sweetgreen, Just Salad has entered the game. I got the Earth Salad with real feta in place of vegan feta, and with roasted cauliflower in addition. It was absolutely perfect. There was a good amount of greens (for those of us who don't want salads that are 50% toppings) and the ingredients all tasted super fresh. The roast potato was flavorful and the beets were so yummy, cooked but not crispy. I wasn't sure I would like the cauliflower in this salad, but they must season theirs in some special way because it was excellent! Their vinaigrette is also really nice and made in house!

Lastly their bread was sooooo yummy. A lot of salad places give a piece of dry bread with their salads but this was so soft and chewy, I could have eaten a whole loaf.

I also grabbed a cookie, which is less than $2 and a perfect little treat with lots of chocolate and a soft interior.

Just Salad is the new new kid on the block! Tucked away in Cambridge Crossing, I visited them multiple times for some amazing smoothies. Sneha and Ivette are incredibly welcoming, and even if it is just for an online pickup order, you will get great service -- they helped me customize a protein smoothie as well!! The salad ingredients are always fresh, and vegan friendly. They do have meat options if you want them. The smoothies are made to order and a Vitamix professional blender, no pre-made Frozen stuff, just fresh ingredients. They are across from the beautiful Cambridge crossing and next to Tatte - but with better prices than Tatte and fresh smoothies!!! $6.99 for a fresh smoothie, it's cheaper than a lot of other places for a large, and customizations are usually included. Also, if you go visit them in person they have a special deal where you can sign up to their rewards program to get $5 off your first order. I’m a fan of the crispy chicken salad, and picked up many times. I did an order in store today and the service was very messy, not organized.

People after me got their food before me. One staff helped me prepare my food, however he got the chicken wrong ( not the crispy chicken), and I don’t like any other types of chicken. I found this after going back to office and opened the lid of the salad bowl. The lunch was totally ruined.

Very unhappy =( The staff needs more training, and the food prep pipeline needs improvement.
