This was my first time trying Shake Shack, and it turned out to be a great experience. We were visiting Boston for a few days and decided to take the subway out to Harvard. This location made for a convenient and enjoyable lunch stop.
The restaurant was fairly clean and offered both indoor and outdoor seating options, which was a nice touch. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere upstairs — it was a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy our meal away from the busier areas. Another highlight was the option to order through a tablet, making the whole process quick and easy.
Overall, this Shake Shack location provided a pleasant dining experience, and I’d definitely consider coming back the next time I’m in the area.

Read moreShake Shack is the In-N-Out of the East Coast and even though there is a Shake Shack in the West I had to have my first experience with this franchise on the East Coast.
Went to the one in Harvard Square due to already exploring the campus and surrounding area. I was surprised they serve beer here, not as surprised with the price of their items.
Since there were a ton of other places to eat I split a spicy chicken sandwich, a red velvet concrete, and cheese fries. The price for those 3 items came out to almost $20. . . . man! $20 for one person? T____T Boy are these college students have some change in their pockets.
I ended up waiting a little longer than I like, but it was during a rush so there were some expectations it might take a while. Hopefully the wait was worth it.
I ended up conflictual, it was worth the wait but for the $20. . . ehh. It was sooo good, but on a college-student budget? The fries could have been devoured in less than 2 minutes, 5 minutes tops. No wonder they give you a little fork to prod and eat delicately. The sandwich had a kick but it didn't leave your mouth burning. Between all of them the concrete was the most surprising of them because it was flat-up amazing. The red velvet was on point and with it sprinkled evenly in each bite, it was a sad moment to have finished it.
The service was great, the food was spectacular, but man even though I was on vacation this was a luxury that was a-okay in the end. Not worth 3-stars, not worth 5 stars,...

This is easily the most disappointing visit to this chain. Yesterday, I was able to obtain the Dubai shake...what in the Lactose? The chocolate, which the cup is internally enrobed in, is just there for show. There was no crackling as there is supposed to be [because this is supposed to emulate a chocolate shell]; The ice cream...while creamy, what is the flavor? I assumed it would be Pistachio, but it tasted like basic sweet cream. The nuts and phyllo were present but this tasted nothing like the flavor it is supposed to represent, so $11/12 down the drain. Every Sun in July, there is a promotion for a Free Chick shack with a $10 purchase. I do not normally complain about free items, but this is a public service announcement: This was the driest piece of chicken I have choked down in years. Frankly, I cannot believe I survived to write...
