Best gelato in the Boston area! The unique flavors are absolutely delicious, with a wide assortment of both sorbet and traditional gelato.

Notably they also have MIND-BLOWING gelato-filled macaroons! I’ve never had anything quite like it.

It’s a little bit pricy, but honestly worth it - especially being located right in Harvard square with a beautiful park to sit in after you’ve received your order.

The staff are very kind! However the newly implemented ordering system is quite frustrating. There are now kiosks through which you must order if you are paying with a card, and the register takes cash only. Though the technology was installed in the spirit of maximizing efficiency, the system/rules aren’t entirely clear upon walking in. Where before there was a clear line establishing who was waiting in turn and where to stand, you will now find a general cluster of people standing at the entrance in no clear formation. It’s confusing if you don’t know how the ordering system works.

Other than that, this place is wonderful and I...

Well. We love the product, but the store here in Cambridge is below the standards. The customer service is poor, the beverages are always warm, never cool. The information before making your request is poor. Today, my wife went to get me a Frappe that we just saw the advertisement in front of the store and she asked for it, nicely, politely, when she received the product missing two items (whipped cream and macarons) she asked, and the answer was: "they are extra", she said, ok, but your picture outside doesn't mention it, and the answer: "We don't follow the photo". She said: okay, then I'll pay thr extra and thr attendant: "we don't have whipped cream today". Jeez. Why keep the advertisement then? Waste of 15 minutes on the line for a product that is, below any standard. We, again, like the ice cream, but hate the store. We'll go to Newbury St from now one and hope this could help lot of people to choose wisely. Shame on you Crew from Cambridge...

The gelato is super. Very good. The staff who scooping my ice cream was terrible. Showing his attitude, very not patient rushing us to make decision. The entire time no smile at all staring at us when we ask for sample. We paid $25 upfront to choose the cup. But it is my first time I don’t know what flavor is the best and I literally want everything because they all look so good. I asked is there a limitation on how many I can try? The guy gave me a weird look and say ‘no but… ‘ and every single scoop of the sample he gave it to me without looking at me I have to reach far to get it he’s attitude made me and my boyfriend extremely uncomfortable. Each of us had large cup, and only tasted four flavors each. We really don’t deserve his attitude. I will never visit again. Spite how good the ice cream is if this guy is still in the place. The other tall guy is super cute. Super nice really attentive, smiling all the time and even apologize...

the employees were patient in answering all of my questions regarding what each item or picture on their wooden menu boards was, and also explained what my options were to customize. I was surprised when it turned out the location had seating inside, it’s hidden very well by the architecture! I ordered a Gourmet cup, and since they only had a limited selection of flavors due to inventory issues, I just opted for Dulce de Leche + Tiramisu gelato and hazelnut sauce. Along with being layered with chocolate pearls (crunchy!) and homemade whipped cream, I probably should’ve asked for more contrasting flavors, because it was all just one cup of sweet goodness! No regrets, though. one concern I had was a smell like baby or talcum powder. But there was also a family with a baby while I was inside, so I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault. I’d just let em know about it, the staff was very responsive!
