Oasis Café — Restaurant in Cannon Beach

The regular black coffee is good, but they charged $4.50 for a 16oz cup of it. For coffee. Are you kidding? It costs that much for a bag of coffee… clearly price-gauging customers here.

Response to owner: not for one cup of coffee it isn’t and I only wanted one. Maybe you should have 2 charges for people who want unlimited refills, which I did not order. “Competitive to area” - please, overcharging by getting together with other cafes in area is not good business. It’s called a monopoly and regional price-fixing against your customers. There have been many lawsuits like this against real estate companies that do the same thing to renters. Look it up. Fair pricing vs. fixed regional pricing will only get you so far, I guess that is why I was the only customer there and why there was about 10 people outside in town, because no one wants to pay the ridiculous prices that you and your gang-business partners fixed. Umm where do i start? Horrible customer service, the girl helping me at the register had SO much attitude when i asked her to substitute bananas for strawberries. Mind you i was getting only one fruit topping bowl. When i got the bowl it was 1/4 cup full with the acsual acai. It wasnt freshly made. It was iced over because the smoothie part has been sitting in the freezer. The cup was also frozen on the outside. Then they added just as much peanut butter as the acai. I was visiting on vacation 4/22/24 and got a latte for my partner. Cute vibe, but horrible service and coffee. I worked in coffee for 7 years and know when the espresso is burnt or being pulled incorrectly. I walked back in, wasn’t busy at all, and kindly told the front lady working it tasted a bit burnt and asked if I could get a regular coffee instead - she literally LAUGHED and said she was going to make me a new latte in such an aggressive, angry tone.
