Starbucks — Restaurant in Canonsburg

I've only been there in the mornings, but it's usually more or less quiet-ish. Layout is a little inconvenient for my personal liking, there's a couple big tables in the middle, lot of big comfy chairs, and only a couple small 2-person tables around the outside, which means there's limited access to outlets for people who use their laptops like I do. But, on the flipside, that would make it a great place to actually socialize, or even to relax alone for a while in the comfy chairs. Drinks are always right, I haven't had an issue with a bad drink yet, and the food's also in good shape. The staff is pretty friendly, but I don't interact with them much - I usually go find a seat, get set up, and order my stuff through the app. It's easier than going up and waiting in line then standing at the end of the counter waiting there, this way I get to be productive while I wait and there's no line. Location is a little weird, it feels like you should be able to pull into it right off the freeway but you can't, you actually circle almost all the way around it because it's built in the middle of two busy roads and they put the entrance on the less busy one to avoid accidents. Not a bad thing, just feels weird when you see it. because it means the "front" of the building is facing "away" from the (main) road, so it's like it's backwards. Probably one of the worst Starbucks I've been too in the Pittsburgh area. We went on a Saturday around 3pm and we ordered inside. Nothing bad to say about service, in fact they were all very kind and professional but the waiting was the longest I've ever experienced. Sure the drive thru was busy but I've been to busier ones and we didn't have to wait 15 minutes for a nitro coffee and cappuccino and a Danish. The place seemed neglected and not inviting at all, as if the tables and chairs were an afterthought. The food was displayed packed in clear plastic bags and the Danish was soggy. If you are looking for a drive thru I'd say it's ok but expect a wait. If you want to enjoy your coffee sitting inside or maybe work there I'd choose another location because this one is kind...

I am very disappointed with my experience at this Starbucks today. I went in to place my order at the register because I did not want to sit in my car at the drive thru. The gentleman at the register was not particularly friendly, but he was efficient. After five minutes of waiting for my order I sat down in the empty dining area. The same gentleman from the register told me I was not allowed to sit in the dining area. I had to wait in exactly the same space, only standing for another 10 minutes. At least 4 cars that got to the order screen in the drive thru got their orders first. Why do I have to stand... its not like the dining area was clean anyway. Why do I get my drink ordered first after people who order behind me. When did the guest start coming last. ...
