Stopped in because I wanted to eat before going to a local store and always have had good food and good experience at other Leo's coney Island locations so I figured it was a good bet, boy was I wrong...server was brand new so I don't blame him at all but I ordered stacked fries and a chili cheese omelet they took long considering at that time dinner had not really started and I was one of maybe 6 or 7 tables when I walked in. Then my stacked fries came out with cold bacon basically still frozen on it never had it like that before so I asked I was told they where not sure but it should not be freezing like that. My omelet had hardly anything in it 😒 and at all just cheese and eggs with a tiny amount of chilli I ate it cause I did not want to wait longer. And then my toast which I had to remind the server 10 minutes into my meal I never got came rock hard like it had been sitting out for the day. Yeah I am definitely not coming back and recommend avoiding this Leo's if you enjoy good coney find another location to go to. Read moreI have been here many times and different times a day. Tonight’s experience completely turned me off. The food was ok my waitress was good but when I spoke to the manager Sal about the extra charge on my bill he proceeded to call the waitress over to berate her in front of me asking her why she didn’t sub the item in my order rather than just adding it which caused there to be an extra charge. She was unaware of the proper way to substitute which I was perfectly fine with. What upset me was the way Sal went about it. When speaking to the other worker at the register telling him do you believe this the other man said why would you embarrass her like that? Sals response was that’s how they learn that’s how you have to teach them! I have been a manager for over 20 years!!!!!!! No SIR, that is not how you train people by berating them. You take them aside and explain them what was done and what should have been done instead. I can tell you this has totally turned me off of coming here in the future. Read moreDefinitely not satisfied with my first experience here. I felt invisible. We walked in (myself and my daughter) and I wasn't sure if we were seating ourselves or waiting. No biggie there. I was actually waiting for my son to come in who was checking the hours next door at the outlet. We all go sit and pull out the menus. My daughter had to use the restroom so both my children go to the back to the restroom. Past the workers. No one ever acknowledged us, said wait we'll be right with you, offered water...nothing. I said if the kids got back out from the restroom without any greeting we were leaving. That is exactly what happened. We left. I was excited about eating there too. Generally I enjoy Leo's.
