We didn't have a good experience at all, at Bruster's today. Sad, I've been going to that ice cream stand, before there ever was a Bruster's in Canton and it was owned locally. Today however, I had some rude guy/ employee there point up and tell me to read the sign myself, when I asked how much the waffle sundae in the picture on the glass right in front of us cost. There was a big picture right next to the order window that I had been looking at and I wanted that ice cream. I could not understand why the Bruster's employee didn't want to tell me how much that sundae cost! He just said "Read the sign above your head and figure it out."
I told him to him to nevermind and my family of 5 and I left.
I asked ONE SIMPLE QUESTION. But he obviously was too busy to be bothered by a customer.
I pointed to the sign in front of me on the glass window and told him what I wanted, but that particular picture didn't have a price. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't putting my gentleman friend out too much by ordering too big of an item.
I tell you, I owned a retail store in Canton myself for 13 years and I promise you one thing's for sure, if an employee of mine told a customer to figure the prices out for herself and they'll get back to me in a moment, THAT EMPLOYEE WOULD BE GONE!
If, you don't enjoy scooping ice cream and helping your customers, then go somewhere else to...
Read moreI went to this location to get my children some ice cream. I do NOT have a student at Cherokee High School. The parking lot was blocked off, and had to be ‘let in’ by an employee. After buying ice cream and tipping the person, my son invited a friend from the high school to join us, who also purchased ice cream. As we were leaving, the employee proceeded to scold and berate me. I told her exactly what I thought of such a disgusting treatment of a paying customer. If I owned that business, I’d really think twice about how my employees treated paying customers who DON’T have children that go to that high school. Needless to say, I will be avoiding that Bruster’s, I’d advise that to anyone. The only other time I was there they were also rude. So unlike the...
Read moreBrusters portion sizes are HUGE. If you are looking to get a large, you should change it to small, because a large is the size of a small elephant. In my opinion the large sizes are great, and it’s not too pricey either. My favorite flavor is the white turtle, which is vanilla ice cream with caramel and pecans. The only reasons I would give it a four star instead of a five star is because the atmosphere is not even close to as good as the product. The tables are always sticky, and the employees often don’t pick up trash around the building. Also, I went once and they closed at 7 o’clock instead of 7 30. All in all it is delicious, but they have a bit of work to do to...
