Donut Corner — Restaurant in Canton

My daughter and I just visited this place for the first time and we had a great experience!

First, I like that they stay open late for those of us that sleep in on the weekends. My daughter woke up wanting donuts, I didn’t think I would find anyone open past 11. With it being so late, they were running low, but we still got a very good selection of donuts, fritter and pigs in a blanket. Oh and I got a peach mango smoothy. Everything tasted great!

The lady that served us was so sweet and held a conversation with me for a while! We didn’t talk about her business or how my day was or how her day was, we just talked about life, really. I love being able to connect with strangers! She was so extremely sweet!

Their ability to be personable with customers deserve a 10 star!

On April 30, 201, this shop sold bad donuts. Either poor cooking grease or old ingredients. They simply tasted bad, and had a bad aftertaste.

We have bought donuts from them for years, especially during 1st Monday Trade day weekends. And they have been exceptional and their service was friendly.

Upon returning them, they did NOT offer a replacement or even accept responsibility for their poor product today.

AND, IT IS THEIR POLICY TO NOT GIVE REFUNDS.

So, it is my policy when a place of business is not customer service focused or friendly and doesn't solve problems or issues, I will no longer do business with them.

And the public needs to know that too. Only in it for the money, not the relationship.

I wonder if I should have the health department do...

I ordered an eclair and an old fashioned doughnut. The chocolate on the eclair tasted like a nail salon. That's the only way I could describe it. The chocolate made me sick to my stomach. The lady asked me if I wanted a glazed or a chocolate old fashioned I asked for a glazed. When I bit into the old fashioned I tasted pumpkin. I am highly allergic to pumpkin and they didn't advertise it had pumpkin in it. I was very upset with this experience. I would recommend the doughnut store on 19 coming from Athens. Never been...
