UNSANITARY @ best-AND IN THE TIME OF COVID!!!! I came here and ordered two quarter pounders with cheese and bacon. After leaving the drive-thru I pulled into a parking space to check my order and saw that bacon was missing from both sandwiches, so I went inside and took the sandwiches to the counter. A young man-wearing a powder blue shirt- of a lighter complexion was very polite took the sandwiches to the back to the cooks. But he didn't remain polite. Because I wanted to know how the issue would be resolved I moved to the far end of the counter and bent down so that I could see how the mistake was rectified. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY 👀s!!! That same young man opened the first box and flipped up the bun with his nasty bare hand. The cook had on gloves and placed bacon on it and then she opened the sandwich of the second box and put the bacon on top as well. Naturally, when he came back around to the front I refused to accept the sandwiches and stated exactly why. He got in an uproar, try to deflect it away form him and said it was about the cook when I made it clear I was accusing him. Then he very flamboyantly, immaturely, disrespectfully, and unprofessionally threw up that same nasty hand and said "whatever." At that time I made it very clear to him that I will take this to corporate and demanded a full refund. I then drove the extra miles to another McDonald's to purchase my items which were made correctly. It was worth it! A WORD TO McDonald's… McDonald's I would rethink promoting this young man if that is indeed your intent. He lacks the professionalism, aptitude customer service skills, conflict resolution, accountability, and honesty needed to be a leader. I'm willing to bet this isn't the first time you've heard of this or the last. Mark my words McDonald's- if you promote him this...
Read moreThe last few times I have ordered food in the drive-through or app to pick-up (Take-out), they have been out of a few items. They do not know until I am ready to pick it up or don’t track it, so you know before placing orders. (Panera is very good at telling you in their app, if an item is sold out. They should look at it for reference.)
I ordered dinner tonight for delivery through Grubhub, but my food was missing some things. My meal was extra, because I upgraded to a large, but the drink was missing completely. There were also extra items added to my food (extra pickles and bacon, etc.). They charge for some of those items to be added & should make sure to double-check. I will say the food here is great.
This was the least busy time of night & a Tuesday, they just need to do a more thorough check before sealing the bags. Food delivery places are not able to look inside and want to make contact-free deliveries. We pay more for tips and service fees to them for using delivery apps, they could try a little harder. It doesn’t help that all of the other restaurants nearby - including Applebee’s (a longer, custom cook time), Arby’s & Chic-Fil-A. They are great at checking for all details before sealing orders & they always have a long line, but still take an extra look! Maybe I just stick to those...
Read moreWorst McDonald's experience ever and that's saying something. Use the kiosk instead of ordering at the counter since there was a long line and they advertised table service so I grabbed a number a waited at our table. 10 minutes later I go up to the counter to see what's taking so long to see my food just sitting there. They didn't call out any numbers, just threw it on the counter, not caring if people were watching the screen or not to see if their food was ready. Then when I asked about the food sitting there with no drinks, I got this rant about how the girl taking orders was about to quit because the manager wasn't making drinks for anyone. Then I get my food and the bottom half of my biscuit was just thrown in the bottom of the bag completely separate from the rest of my wrapped biscuit.
Edit (since this McDonald's clearly wasn't done with this amazing experience): we were eating in the play area and the janitor comes around mopping the floor and starts mopping under the tables. He gets to our table and I'm like surely this dude isn't gonna do it...spoiler alert: he totally does... HE HAD US MOVE OUR FEET WHILE WE WERE EATING TO MOP UNDER OUR TABLE. WHILE. WE. WERE. EATING!...I can't get out of this place...
