As I stand in line with TWELVE people, socially distanced, and watch only ONE cashier working—I wonder why? And I’m not the only one wondering.
It’s very poor customer service, especially at 6:00-6:10 pm (the time frame that I stood in line), when folks are stopping in after work with a need for just a couple of items and the hope that they can get in and out so as to get home to get dinner started for their families.
The blame goes to management/ownership. Two employees during “rush hour”, and only one of them at the cash registers is a lack of quality service. Even though management is responsible it was quite apparent that these two employees weren’t really into their job. Boost morale across the board management.
By the way—I do give kudos to this Dollar General store being a clean one.

Read moreI LOVE this Dollar General! The staff is so friendly and it's the cleanest one I've ever been in. They keep their products well stocked, and I always find what I need. I will say that the prices are a little higher than Walmart, but that's what you pay for the convenience of not having to go into a bigger grocery store. At the Dollar General, you can just run in and grab what you need. The bonus is that they always have coupons and deals on their app and on their website.
