My girlfriend and I tried this place once before and we weren't very impressed. It had been a few months so we decided to give them another try. We wanted to sit on the upstairs patio and the hostess said "I'll put you on the list." So we sat down to wait with wait time given. After about 5 minutes. She shouts up to the manager who was walking up the steps and he comes back and says we can come up. So we went up there and there were two empty tables so I'm not sure why we had to wait. The manager (I think that's what he was) brought us waters and my glass still had a full lip print on it from someone else. I told him and he took it back and apologized. I ordered a Coors light and the blackened Mahi mahi sandwich with fries. My gf ordered a salad and a blue moon. My sandwich was incredibly overcooked and flavorless. The fries were also terrible which my gf agreed because she ordered a salad so she obviously had some of my fries. I ordered a second beer and at my first sip I could taste something like sugar and some other flavor on the rim of the glass. My gf took a sip from my glass and said the same thing. The glass was definitely used for one of their drinks specials or something. We could both taste it for an hour after. I gave it to the waiter and explained it was my second dirty glass that I was served. He apologized and said he thought it was clean when he grabbed it. The waiter was the one good part about our experience. The waiter came back and said that the "Manager would like to offer us a free dessert for the trouble" . We politely declined and after he walked away we both kind of thought" why would I want another dirty dish?". The manager never came over. So overall, the food was terrible, the glasses and dishes are filthy and they have a health score of 84!! We spent $75 on lunch (we did have a few beers a piece). My sandwich was $16 by itself. This restaurant likes to present itself and price it's menu as if it's some sort of fine dining. It is anything but. The audacity of a restaurant having an 84 health score and charging as if they are something special is pretty upsetting. Yet another Canton restaurant serving the same frozen over cooked poorly executed food. The biggest thing for me is the filthy glasses and the health score. Serving clean dishes and getting an A on your health score is FREE and should not...
Read moreLet me start out by saying that I tipped 15 dollars before I got the food to go. The "medium - well" steak was absolutely raw (Not cool) The risotto was just a yellow thick brick cheese sauce with sort of al dente rice not good I know what real good risotto looks like. The botanical gardens in atlanta has excellent risotto trust me go try it. All of the food was lukewarm literally. They gave us a tiny quarter portion fries in a small box that were also LUKEWARM meaning NOT A FULL SERVING of fries for like 5-6$ smh. My burger was terrible, just AN unseasoned unflavorful, unsalted brick with old pico and a sad bit of browning old acvacodo... It just didn't feel fresh. The food didn't feel fresh man. That place is a applebee's that charges too much. In fact, I could have gotten better quality food at applebee for cheaper. Its like fancy bar food if the bar was very low... It's like it wants to be fancyish but they should start by hiring better cooks who care about the dishes because no my date and I really just threw away most of the food and I had to go buy her new fries from a fast food restaurant. RCB wasn't good, you guys. It just wasn't. They gave us no knives, no forks, no napkins sheesh.... I TIPPED 15$..... Also the restaurant smells like a chuck. E cheese, you know how when lazy people who do not wash out the dish rag after using it let it sit for hours and then take that sour dish, rag & wipe down a plastic booth with it...Mmmmm yum. That's how that whole restaurant smells.. like why??? It smells like a mcdonald's play place in there! The smell was annoying and I then look over to see they have like an 80% for a food rating so... Yeah.... Major L on my part for trying this place out (NEVER AGAIN) The only good thing that I spent money on out of that meal ( I spent about 100 btw) was the dessert and I'm pretty sure it didn't come from...
Read moreFirst time visiting and will definitely be the last. I don't understand the good reviews for this place. The only good part was that the service was excellent (Jessica). The chef needs taste buds and to know how to properly cook meat. Everything needed flavor, I mean everything. We had a party of 6 no one in our party really liked the food, from the appetizers to dessert. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out super rare. Sent it back and they returned the same piece of meat cooked nearly well done. The chicken was dry in both the chicken dish and the chicken and dumplings, which had maybe 2-3 dumplings in it, if that. The chicken and dumplings had a bone in whole piece of chicken in it, not pieces which would have been ok if it weren't so dry. It tasted like chicken and rice soup. The blackened chuck eye steak was cooked properly but zero flavor, definitely not blackened. The hanger steak, same. The macaroni and cheese was creamy but again, zero flavor. The mashed potatoes almost tasted like instant, no cream or butter or flavor. The apple cobbler (free for a birthday) was meh and the crumble topping tasted extremely bland and like raw flour. As I said, the service was great and several managers came around asking if everything was ok. Yes, everything was "ok" but I should have said "pull up a chair and we'll give you some honest feedback" but I doubt they would have wanted to do that nor have the time. Perhaps they should ask customers does everything taste good or is everything delicious. For a party of 6 with 3 appetizers, 6 bar drinks and 6 entrees, the total with tip was nearly $400. I don't mind paying that if the food is good but there are far better places to spend your money for quality food that tastes great. So if you have no taste buds and like really bland food, this is the...
