Sidelines Grille - Canton (Riverstone) — Restaurant in Canton

Tonight our group was treated to the worst service we ever had at this restaurant. The major issue is that after we placed our order at 7:30 we sat and played trivia. As time past we were not approached again by the wait staff. As orders were filled for people that came in after us, at 8:15 we hailed one of the staff that took our order and asked about the delay or issue with our food. The reply was oh, let me check and left. After a short period of time, she came back with a small tray of chips and cheese dip. She stated that there was a glitch with the computer and our food was just starting to be made. Following that, the manager came out to further explain and apologize for the delay. At this point we were finally asked if we needed refills of our drinks. Being upset, I told them I needed nothing else and to just not bother me. Then, we didn't see anyone again until the food arrived around 8:45. Once served the staff disappeared again. When the trivia game ended , the manager came over to ask how to split the check. We asked for a box to take food home. The checks arrived and we paid. Issue: Computer glitch - No, order was written on a pad. It never got to the computer until WE asked about our order.

The server had tables around us and checked on them constantly while ignoring us completely

To be offered chips as a hold over is a joke.. This isn't our first visit; we play almost every week and have spent lots of money during the past 2 years.

Now the worst part, the server who made the error brought out our checks and we were offered no discount or offer to comp the meals.

OUR FRIEND IS THE GENERAL MANAGER AND i KNOW IF HE WERE THERE THE CORRECT STEPS WOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN.

As a longtime regular and I speak for the other regulars that frequent this neighborhood spot, I was very disappointed last night. After watching the food quality decline over the past couple months, the liquor selection dwindle down because of poor planning, warm beer, and even the beer draft system go down, I approached management about the issue letting him know the concern and discontent of regulars. Our concern is that we enjoy coming to the business, however at this point it's for the friends and people there and definitely NOT the food anymore.

And instead of simply asking what the issues were (customer service), I was told "it's America go somewhere else then".... I explained that a simple glance across the bar showed a lot (literally one person at the bar had food / and they had cold nachos mind you) and I was told again, "it's America, you have a choice to go somewhere else"...

I just thought it should be known the attitude that is had there and if they'd treat a regular like that how would they treat a new customer?... Even a lady and her husband that were sitting close by and that overheard the conversation made it a point to say hey there is definitely a problem with management here. We never get welcomed or thanked for coming in and when there's a problem with food, no one ever comes out to remedy or apologize for the issue.

I'm definitely rethinking my options, especially since RCB is right across the parking lot and they apparently want our business and value regulars and the last thing I would hear there is "find somewhere else"...

My wife, myself and some friends went here last night around 10pm. There were approximately 2 dozen other patrons. We had Kylieanne as our waitress. The moment she came to our table she threw down drink napkins, used as coasters, not placed down. My wife and I immediately noticed this, didn't think nothing of it other than maybe she was having a bad night. She took our drink order and didn't bring straws or offer any so I ended up grabbing some for everyone. She took our appetizer order and it came out fine and timely. When she was taking our food order she had some attitude towards people asking for substitutions or alters. When one of our friends mentioned she asked for ranch instead of blue cheese the waitress rolled her eyes. She rarely came to check on us and didn't ask if anyone wanted a refill. It took her 3 trips, even after we asked for boxes, to get our checks. My wife planned to leave a cash tip and as we were leaving Kylieanne decided to confront us from afar and said "are you really okay with not tipping?" My wife mentioned she left a tip, Kylieanne then responded the others just left without tipping. Which was rude and unprofessional, she also didn't know my wife planned to leave cash. She also didn't apologize to my wife for her false accusation. My wife went back in and grabbed the tip after that comment and we spoke with the manager on duty. We explained the situation and let her know we took the tip back because the waitress was rude and unprofessional. The manager was really professional and willing to listen.
