First thing. Placed an order on the app here which i will never do again. Next time ill go in person or just go to the del prado S location.
They had no french vanilla. No whipped cream (they charge $0.25 for whipped cream??? What). Which i dont understand, sounds like its the persons fault for not ordering enough. The french vanilla being out was disappointing because a person ordered 8 pumps of it for their coffee which was $2.25~. anyway.
Go there and they botched the small coffee with french vanilla, there is none, the truck is coming later that day, ok she said she would put caramel in it. She gave me the caramel no coffee. As pictured. Literally just caramel syrup.
Manager comes up to ask why shes giving me a large cup for a small coffee, they talk, he walks up and says hes gonna have to charge me $0.50 for a cup citing it's for his inventory. After going around behind the counters and stuff coming down on his staff.. Listen dude. First thing youre micromanaging your entire crew and theyre freaking out cus theyre busy and trying to serve the customers and their boss is right there breathing down their necks. Ease up. You could have given me the cup for free and not made an issue of it, i simply responded "well hold on a second you guys just ate like 3 bucks of my money because of the 8 french vanilla pumps I ordered for my client plus the whipped cream you dont have" so i ended up getting the large cup for free, guess it wasnt an inventory thing was it?
Second thing I spend like $25/week with Dunkin donuts and you guys need loyal customers like me, the service was lousy at this dunkin wont go back. Ill try again maybe in a year, see if they smoothed things out.
This past 12 months they've suffered a huge employee shortage i get it its nice to see them fully staffed but letting a customer go out the door with a coffee botched was a huge no no. In the future please dont micromanage your employees it...
Read moreI used to consider this the "good" Dunkin in the Cape. Recently that has changed. I used to go at least once a day every day to get my iced caramel macchiato, and sometimes some food for my boyfriend. The last time I went was the last time I'll ever go. New general manager and her drive through window employee were outrageously rude. I ordered through the drive through, after they ask us to hold on for 2 whole minutes (no biggie) we placed our order, drove to the window, made payment and sat and waited for our food and drinks. After a few minutes of me listening to them complain about my "complicated order" they ask us to pull forward, without even handing me my coffee first. When the girl finally brings out our food, she shoved it in the window at my boyfriend, and didnt bring my coffee. When I informed her they never gave me my coffee she stormed off and rolled her eyes. While she went in we inspected our food and my wakeup wrap (ham, sausage egg and cheese) looked like it had been literally crumbled up upon placing it in the bag. So I went inside and asked for a new one. The girl at the counter snapped "WELL WHAT EXACTLY DOD I MESS UP?!" And I showed her my crumpled up wrap, and all she does is turn and yell "she wants us to remake this thing" with a terrible attitude. Mind you I still dont even have my coffee. When it's all said and done and I finally have my whole complete order I ask for their names which they refuse, ask for a receipt, which they refused, and then was told courtney was the G.M and she wasn't going to do anything including giving me my money back if I left the food!!! I worked at Dunkin for 6 years and this is unacceptable. They both need...
Read moreI have very mixed feelings about this location. When they get the order right, it's good.... When they don't, it's really off.
First off, I don't know when the Dunkin' locations on Cape Parkway decided to underfill drinks, but they both do it. Leaving a solid inch or two between the lid and the top of the coffee is an interesting choice. If you get iced coffee later in the day, it tastes burnt. Without fail, it ends up tasting like old coffee that has sat around.
The bigger issue I have is with one of the staff. I don't know her name, but I remember the attitude she gave me. After ordering two large iced macchiatos, I was surprised to receive cups that were almost all milk with what looked like an ounce of regular coffee on it. I took a drink, and it was bad. Not only was it bad, again, it was underfilled. I went inside to get it corrected, and this woman told me she could add more milk. I said the issue was it being underfilled and a clear lack of espresso. This woman then proceeds to argue with me, and tells me that espresso is not coffee. I thought she was joking, but her tone told me she was dead serious. Imagine arguing with a customer...that the coffee you serve...isnt coffee. After the attitude, she did remake it, but I haven't been back since.
The attitude definitely wasn't necessary, and being that hostile about something you are 100% wrong about...
